They need to remove these feminist women from my games.
I don't like this kind of articles. We all know Nintendo games are bought mainly by adults (or kidults). People who grew up with those games.
There's no need to write articles just to only to reaffirm a position. We all know, you are a special snowflake that faces the impositions of society and plays Nintendo games being in the 30s. You and more than 30 million people.
@RauLeCreuset *insert michael scott gif 'thank you'*
10 million is a good number, but if it had cross play it could selling better.
This article is based on a false assumption. Pokémon is not mostly a franchise bought by children. In fact, most of today's buyers are adults who have played as children and the children of these who are pushed into the series by the parents and also by the cartoon.
So, it matters little the price of admission. For a rich country adult, the value is completely affordable.
The special snowflake white cinservative men need these kind of protection. They are too sensitivo.
Never is a strong word. I don't think they are aiming for 100% of today's game base. If they lost (and they will) some on the road it's fine. The broad audience will compensate the loss.
Undestand One point: companies dont want only us. They want everybody. Maybe game streaming is not technical achievable today, but movies and music were not yesterday too.
Maybe they lose some tradicional gamers. But they will reach a broad audience that is unreacheble now.
Think about Netflix. Lage base but some lost in The process.
In the end The money must be bigger.
I agree with most recent articles. A lot of them are claming that streaming, cloud computing and subscription are the future of the games.
BUT, I think that will be the future because it's better for the companies and not for the consumers.
It's not the only one, of course. I never said it is. What I said is that USA is the origin of this manage style and the force behind it.
If you look to CEO salaries in Japan, South Korea or even in Europe (maybe with exception of UK), the number are much much lower.
Maybe it's harder to an ordinary anglo-saxon citizen to see the influence and pressure their government put outside their borders. The economy is not global, only the capital is. Peo...
Worst for who? Seem like EA and Actrivision shareholders, the only ones that can fire them are at least happy. Maybe shareholders are unhappy with DICE and Bioware because their games didn't sell very well.
When we look at business we need to understand that companies works to make more money as possible not to please customers. If you can do both it's better. But the first is the choice to make.
Free market capitalism makes no reference to competition. Competition is present in all forms of managing capitalism. Free market capitalism is a reference to capitalism without external intervention in the interests of shareholders, but with a high intervention in the interests of consumers and workers.
For example, in free-market capitalism capital can move freely between countries while workers, consumers and materials have barriers.
I'm always amused when people (especially from USA) get angry over CEO salary.
This IS the way you chose do manage capitalism since 80s. Both CEOs are exceptional at the work give to them: bring money to shareholders in the shot and medium term. If the company breaks at long term, shareholders can go away in minutes.
This is how free market capitalism works. If you feel bad for this, don't blame Kotick or Wilson. They are just doing what they are very well paid for....
Don't worry. There's a kind of social pressure among gamers to like some franchises, designers and publishers.
I don't like Zelda, but sometimes it's sound like a sin. You like what you like, even if some obscure gaming forum said otherwise.
So, the future is multiplayer only?
As a opressed white man from a developed country, I think Square should keep Lara as a bag of nothing with a sexy body like in the 90s.

People will buy ir anyway. Pokémon fans won't let to play the game because $20 in 2019. There's an emotional attachment to those games for a lot of people.
If you're talking about Phanton Thief, he/she isn't an insider.
Wii U is my favorite. It has a exclusive Premium feeling because it's not popular.
