It's a relly stupid comparision. People who bought NeoGeo Mini, Atari Classic, Nes/Snes Mini didn't do that because they can't play those games on their current console.

They bought because they want the look, the controller and the nostalgia bomb. Wii U had NES have SNES games, but the owners were crazy to buy replicas from the childhood console.

Could be great for the series. Even a mediocre game would be acclaimed.

Because we could write an article complaining that studios only do sequels.

Form the company that brought you Pokémon GO.

I don't like the review, but I think Shenmue needs to be played with a historical perspective in mind

Or you can wait until they decided to sell you a GameCube game for 30 dollars.

But almost everybody will be sillent, because it's Nintendo.

If it was Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft or Sony the world would be beating them.

@kevnb I don't think so... Seems more like they share the same business model. Both companies are north american, open capital, profit before quality, etc.

"That still means we, the consumers, lose our right to own the product."

Yes. Technically we don't 'own' the games already, because they sell us the licence rights to use. But, in pratice, at least in phisycal copies, we own the game. But some companies are already trying to change this, with Activision demanding download two of three games in Spyro Trilogy.

This is the way Publishers want, not it's the best for consumers.

What EA is saying is that games won't be loaded localy, but in the clouds, very similar with Microsoft is saying.

Those games will be built to run on Azzure, for instance, and your TV is just the application laucher, like Netflix.

This approach solve a lot of problems for publishers, like piracy, used market and emulation once final user doesn't have access to the game code.

Yeah, mostly.

Bad timming. SSB Ultimate Direct will overshadow this game.

Popcorn is food and have a different function. For me it's more like the clothes that you use to see the movie.

I never though people really cared about this kind of stuff so badly to the point to feel unhappy/unconfortable to play a game because other players have different skins.

For me it's a whole new world of players behaviour.

Interisting. From your first comment i've had understand that you could pay to have better gear/weapons/armor, similar to buying a new different car on a racing game. But, as you clarify, it's not the case.

For me it is some kind of "news" someone saying that some costume/hat/color makes a game unconfortable to play. Maybe I need to understand this behaviour to understand the critic over Epic business model.

Why people are unhappy?
