I really enjoyed the campaign in the first one, I thought it was really well done, but the online felt far different then the campaign. It was more like a Bad Company game. I was a bit thrown off because you could go prone in the campaign, but not in the online.
I still had fun with it, bought the game when it was on sale for like $10 and had some good times with it.
Had they done an add for the SuperBowl, we would now be seeing articles on how bad it was or how it wasn't done right. You simply cannot please everyone. An average SuperBowl ad costs 3 million dollars, it's kind of hard to justify that kind of money.
Am I the one one who likes the way Naughty Dog seems to grow with it's fan base? I mean I was a kid when Crash came out, then as I got older they started on the Jak series, which was for teenagers, then as I got a bit older we got Uncharted, which was for teenagers and adults and now Last Of Us looks to be for a more mature audience.
I love and would welcome any new Jak game, but I applaud ND for being able to move on and not linger and let the games get too repetitive. ...

Crackdown was a game on the Genesis back in the day. So it was rebooted on the Xbox 360. A true AAA release usually needs to sell 2, 3, 4 million to even break even or to make money.
1 million isn't really as much of a milestone as it used to be, because these companies spend so much in R&D and advertising.
Consider that Homefront didn't even make a profit, same with BulletStorm and LA Noire.
Publishers hav...
What exactly makes it "crap"? Is it because you don't like it, or is it because the game is bad?
Just because you don't like something doesn't make it bad. Different strokes for different folks my friend.
The game is aimed at kids and he made it with his daughter in mind. The game scored very well and you cant really complain about a game made for kids. They are a demographic in gaming as well. Same thing for families.
You consider the Xbox 360 to be on life support when it sells the most world wide? What's that make the PS3 and Wii my friend?
Kinect doesn't have a single notable title? Yet Kinect Sports 1 is over 4 million, part 2 is closing in to 2 million. Dance Central almost 3 million.
Gunstringer is great as well, Child Of Eden was a ton of fun.
"Lacks any real notable exclusives" So Gears Of War, Halo, Forza aren't notable? <...
Game looks pretty good, wish I could afford a Vita. Maybe later on this year. The tech cant be touched and the Uncharted game looks sick!
I kind of enjoyed the campaign, but it wasn't the best. The multiplayer is tops though. I enjoy it thoroughly.
At least try not to be so obvious when you troll. New Xbox 360s models cant red ring. Even if something went wrong with the console Microsoft replaces them free of charge. Also, if there were a hardware failure in a Xbox 360, why would someone need to buy a new Kinect?
Kinect actually is the fastest selling electronic device of all time according to The Guinness book of world records.
In fact, people have been using the RROD as an excuse for far too long. The...
I remember having a blast with Syphon Filter back on the PS2, that was an epic series. God Of War 4 is a bit baffling to me because the story pretty much finished itself with that epic ending in God Of War 3.
I'd happily take another God Of War game, just want one of the same quality as the previous games.
I would absolutely love if this were true, I grew up with the Ninja Turtles and they've had some epic games. I would love a gritty reboot that is in the vein of the original comics or the first movie, which was underrated and dark/violent.
Looks really good, cant wait to see more on this at E3. So far a lot of the sites claiming they have all this new info have absolutely nothing, but these screens look pretty darn good.
Boosting is going to happen in any competitive game, which is why I don't bother to prestige in any COD game.
I love smaller maps in COD, Dome is my favorite in MW3, Terminal is my favorite in MW2 and of course Shipment is my favorite in the first MW game.
The big issue I have with the COD games is that they take something that is simple in nature and complicate it with needless things. Killstreaks are fine, but I felt they were best at 3,5 and 7 and ev...
I'm not crazy about 3-D, but I would get one of these if the price went down to $199. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks like this.
At $199 it'd be a competitively priced computer monitor with 3-D. I don't think $500 is a good price point for a 3-D monitor that doesn't have a tuner to watch television.
This is basically preference, it's hard to compare the two as they are vastly different games.
At this point and time there are so many publications and places giving out GOTY awards they've lost all meaning to me, I play what looks interesting to me and if games are good, then they are good. It's always tough ranking games you love, so I just play them, have a good time with them and that's about it.
We are all going to have different opinio...
Sonic CD was great, I remember playing that game non stop back when I had a Sega CD in the 90's.
It was probably the only game worth playing on that add on. Glad to see Sonic rebound in 2011, Generations and Sonic CD were both great releases.
I enjoyed Zelda Skyward Sword, but I wondered why it took 5 years to complete the game, especially when you spend so much time back tracking to where you've already been.
I liked the art style and the direction of the story, but it wasn't my favorite Zelda by any means.
I know I'll get flack for it, but OOT is my favorite and Wind Waker is a close second. Really loved the new direction in Wind Waker.
Although I know a lot of peop...
Well if they are hiring for it now, then we are still probably a couple of years away from the PS4.
I think there is a 60% percent chance we'll see the Xbox 720 this year, of course we'll get the Wii U and I think we'll see the PS4 sometime mid to late 2013.
Glad to see one of Sony's top developers working on a next gen game, hopefully we'll get a solid launch date game.
Am I the only person who hasn't ever played this game? It just doesn't seem to appeal to me.
Also, I think it's games like this that are causing people to think handhelds are dying.
I'm looking forward to this game for the Dueling and Podracing game modes. I hear you can use items as a lightsaber and the game still tracks you.
I know it's not getting a ton of love here, but I'm kind of excited to play as a jedi...I guess my inner geek is showing.
