That is opinion really. I'm in my mid 20's and so obviously wasn't around for the release of the old trilogy, but from what I saw as a kid they were kind of boring.
I didn't get into Star Wars until I saw Episode 1 in 1999, I know people try to dog on the newer movies because of Jar Jar or because of the use of special effects, but Lucas used the best effects available back in the original trilogy and the best available for the newer trilogy.

My bit of advice for people that are complaining Microsoft doesn't do anything but "casual" or anything but the typical Halo, Gears, Forza games, YOU need to purchase this title. I truly believe this is a litmus test to see where the fan base is for this franchise.
People cant complain that there is never anything new, if they aren't going out and purchasing these things when they are offered.
I still remember when I went into Gamestop to bu...
The funny part is, young actors never do their own stunts, these guys are showing people how it's done. It takes guts and the movies look 100% better for it.
You get injured sometimes, but at least they are bringing back a great genre of movies. No CGI BS, just straight up action that kicks butt and looks great.
Probably just getting us ready for some new apps, aren't we supposed to be getting HBO and some other things?
Looking forward to it for sure.
On a side note, I'm a bit disappointed in a lot of the comments in this section, I was reading them trying to see what was included in this update and it was 75% people trolling like they had controlling interest in a gaming company and it was their job to put the competition down.
It's a good score for sure, I'd say this Twisted Metal is more of a thank you to long time fans then anything else. Not that new fans cant be won over by the game, but I think this is definitely aimed at true Twisted Metal fans like myself.
Game plays great, it's like an old friend stops by to say hello. I feel like it's 10 years ago when I was playing my PS2 and that's a great thing.
You don't actually have to shout, I was using the demo with Kinect yesterday and was surprised that you can just speak normally and it works perfect.
I might use the pause/controller option when I need a break for combat, but the Kinect features let you immerse yourself in real time combat without having to quit the action.
Works really well, I was very skeptical at first, but will definitely go through my playthrough with Kinect.

I like the new dash and I'm a gamer, so I'm not sure what to say. It took a bit to get used to, just like all the other dash updates, but I think it's a great update and it's easy to navigate. Heck, if you are having trouble finding anything just use the Bing search, it's simple and easy.
I'm pretty easy to please though, I like all three online interfaces, XBL, PSN and the Wii interface actually works well for me and for what it is.

The demo played great! Really looking forward to seeing the finished product. My uneasiness about the game being rushed is a little bit less now. Hopefully Bioware put a ton of true RPG elements in the game.
Hopefully they find a good middle ground, I want to be challenged, but I don't want the challenge to be so tough it ruins the story or my love of the game.
It's looking like a solid must have title this year though.
I didn't think Nintendo was releasing any new games on the Wii? This looks interesting, hope it makes it's way to the US sometime. I've finished with Skyward Sword and need something new to play.
Microsoft gave the green light to Remedy to put Alan Wake on the PC because it's not a competing console.

Remedy owns the IP, Microsoft owns the publishing rights.
If this XBLA Alan Wake is a hit, I would suspect Microsoft might just pony up and buy Rem...
This actually makes a lot of sense, I've been saying that Microsoft could easily make a Halo game for the 360 and the 720. Both consoles would use XBL anyway, do it'd be easy enough to play them competitively against each other. Sort of the way Final Fantasy Online was for the PS2 (remember the HDD add on?) and the Xbox 360 and you could actually play together.
Something tells me we might hear something on the next Xbox this year.

This sucks for us Metal Gear Online fans, MGSO offered a unique online experience, but I have to admit I hadn't actually played in nearly a year. Just too many other solid games to play online.
RIP MGSO, here's hoping the next MGS game releases soon and has some solid online play.
I sense a lot of anger in you, but Microsoft and most people don't count the PC as a "console". Thus a game going to PC still leaves the games as Xbox exclusive.
I never said 1.5 million is a flop, nor have I said PS3 games are flops. I am not sure why your so angered by what I'm saying, I've read the articles and I know what Remedy has said, they say it pretty clear that Alan Wake isn't going to the PS3, same with Gears Of War.

Well I'm curious to see what they come up with for God Of War 4, hopefully it innovated in the way God Of War 3 did, that game was fantastic.
Well we kind of know another one is coming out and sooner rather then later. Sony probably wants a semi annual series from Naughty Dog.
I can see a new Uncharted game coming out on the current 2 year cycle. Uncharted is definitely Sony's biggest franchise at the moment and they'll want to take advantage of that. I would probably count on Uncharted 4 coming out for the PS4, possible launch title.
They have a publishing deal with Microsoft. The ball is totally in Microsoft's court. There is as much chance at Alan Wake being put on the PS3 as Gears Of War.
It's not going to happen.
Well a lot of people have opinions on "great games". I personally haven't played many games in 20+ years of gaming to compare to Skyrim.
There have only been a few of what I'd consider to be "great games" this entire generation, and yes they have all sold very well.
I heard about Skyrim through word of mouth, that rarely happens for me. Everyone was talking about the game and playing it.
That's my take on thi...
I kind of doubt it ends up on the PS3. Maybe if it were a runaway success on the Xbox 360 you might hear something about it. I think everyone should be able to play this game, but then again, would people want to wait another year or possibly longer to get a PS3 version? Especially with all this next gen stuff in talks. It might not be worth it for them to port it over. It could get lost in the shuffle pretty easily.
Also, they have a huge PC hit, they will probably want to g...
I haven't played Revelations yet, Assassins Creed is one of those games in my back log, I just kind of think they wore the current story a bit thin. Unlike the COD games, Assassins Creed isn't made by different companies and alternating years with releases, were getting one every year and it's kind of saturated the market, but when they are selling 7-10 million copies of each iteration, I doubt they will stop anytime soon.
Maybe a new character or better story fo...
