I wonder how many people remember that the original PS1 was going to be Nintendo's answer to the Sega CD, and meant to be an expansion for the SNES? They had a parting of ways with Sony and the rest is history, unfortunately for Nintendo.
The NES was solely responsible for reviving the video games industry, which looked dead and lifeless after the games market crash of 1983. In no way was it a turd, imo. After years of buying completely rubbish arcade conversions and games that the developer couldn't even take time to make a start/splash screen for, gamers were wow'd by the NES and it's arcade perfect rendition of Super Mario Brothers, and otherwise arcade quality sound and graphics (at the time).
Well, it comes with 1 month free in the box. I used that and still want to grab the Black Friday deal if I can.
But I would recommend everyone to go ahead and activate your free month just to grab Resogun. It's a must have arcade shooter

Well, I got a PS4 but for the sake of those who did buy XB One, I hope if it is true, it's a small issue. Nothing worse than seeing your $$ go up in smoke (not being funny).
I downloaded it because it was one of the free PSN+ games. I thought it seemed weird when starting out, but after a few minutes, I realized there was more to this than meets the eye. It's still rather bizarre, but sometimes it's good to get out of your same old routine and play something totally off the wall.
This one also seems like it will challenge you to think while playing. I'm going to put it on the back burner for now and come back and try it later o...

Yeah, I was about to say the same, I played the PS4 for several hours playing Resogun, Blacklight Retribution, and Warframe, and then checked the temp and just felt like luke warm air coming out the back. Definitely cooler than my PS3 fat.

Well, well, isn't that "convenient". Just in time to try and create a frenzy over them. BTW, I stopped by the Toys R Us near me last week and they had a big XBox One display up and advertising it everywhere, but other than a couple of games in the case, they didn't have one single sign, banner, or anything even announcing the PS4. It's obvious which system they are trying to promote.
