I guess that's the key, community policing should keep the situation under check.
Funny because I was just talking with a co-worker about something like this yesterday... I was telling him I didn't think the whole Skype while you play was a good idea because it could put kids in a bad position if some perv started a video with them. And, I told him it was a possibility for something like that to create bad press for MS or Sony.
Check around.. Many reports of X1's sitting on store shelves in the US, and as mentioned in another thread, I did a search on Target.com and 9 of the 20 local area stores were reporting it was in stock as of last night.
LOL... I just checked my area with Target.com "find it in store" and 9 of the 20 Targets in my area have XBox 1's in stock. None of them have a PS4
@nukitall
Try the search tool at Target. You might find some at some of the stores.
The type of tv (or the stream quality for that matter) doesn't make a whole row of trees suddenly turn into a single tree. It also doesn't turn a set of two windows at the top of the building into a set of 3 that look like closed shutters. There are definitely texture differences and missing stuff in this newer build.
I'm sure that once some people start playing it, if this is not true, they will start taking some screen shots showing that they still have the s...
And it's more than lighting, the textures are entirely different (with less detail) in places on the retail version. Look closely at the windows on the buildings. Also missing trees in areas as well.
Yeah, that looks really bad. I hate it for the guys who were all waiting for this.
Now I cannot wait to see the final version of Drive Club.
Lot's of PS4 skins on eBay for under $15, some with matching controller skins
Don't know about the quality but some look pretty good.
Hmm.. Hadn't thought about that.
^^ Remembers the opening sequence to Donkey Kong Country.
Old school meets new
Or, it may not be Sony... Naughty Dog has been quiet about their PS4 project... except for saying that you would "be in awe" when you play it.
When I upgraded from 5.1 to 7.2, I heard my PS3 games and Blurays like I had never heard them before. It was an amazing difference. My reciever is also THX certified. The second sub added that movie quality bass/rumble in action movies that I had been missing.
XBox 1 is having many problems of it's own.. Machines bricking and cannot download the required update to even play a game on them.. optical drives eating discs or rejecting them, people getting banned after running the manual patch update on their system, and it's not even released worldwide yet.
Better not celebrate too soon over a few PS4 issues.
What if it's the drive controller on the system board? We don't know yet.
@back-to-back
Whoa! That's a shocking difference. I hope those are Photoshop'd or something. Maybe Falon had a giant pipe to the cloud and the poor guy below him only had a standard 5MB internet service and wasn't getting "the power of the could". Lot's of detail and textures missing.
I remember someone saying that if it really tried to use the cloud to make games look better, that some people were going to be really disappointed...
Yes, they do.
Wowowowow!! Oh wow. This guy is full of French wine. He may actually get someone over there to believe that too.
Probably because they sold so few of them. Not saying that to troll, it's just the truth.
That's what I was just thinking. If this is true, then THIS should have been the launch game instead of Knack. Not bashing Knack, but Crash, come on.. just imagine how much better it could be evolved on todays hardware.
It will be here before you know it.
Excited for you guys to finally join in. I still haven't set mine up (had it a week) Better do it now before the next big PSN rush for downloads.
