Looking at his history, most of his games have 2-3 year development times, which is about average for a AAA studio.
Why would they heavily market something that's still 2 months out? They just announced the bundle, marketing won't really get going until about 2 weeks before launch, we might get a story trailer before then.
Remedy have a pretty solid track record with 3rd person shooters and have good writers, so I'm not too worried about that, the little I've watched looked good, but I can see it being a little too easy, as the guy you play as looks pretty op.
I just hope they don't rely on the TV show too much, and it complements the game's story, instead of taking away from it.
This year is looking really strong all round, too strong for me to pick a game and say that's definitely going to be a GOTY contender.
We've already had a handful of gems like The Witness, Firewatch, Xcom 2, Darkest Dungeons and TR 2 (for the PC folk). With The Division and Far Cry Primal looking decent enough, and then April just being crazy with Dark Souls 3, Quantum Break and Uncharted 4, nevermind the rest of the year, which is packed too.
I've never understood why people care about big % increases, without the number it jumped from, it's meaningless.
Fable Legends (by Lionhead) and Sea of Thieves (by Rare) are already confirmed, so yes.
@Lon3wolf
I think it's because Quantum Break is a MS owned I.P, so the fanboys had convinced themselves it's staying on Xbox. I don't know why more people getting a game bothers them so much though.
They are doing a deal where if you pre-order the digital Xbox version from the MS Store, you get the PC version too. That's what I'm doing.
Is Halo Wars 2 confirmed cross-play? I wonder how they'll be able to balance that, KB&M players will have a huge advantage if there's a lot of micro-management involved.
Well, did you find a solution? If so, at least now you know not to waste your time with tech support and to just go straight to where they most likely go to, to find a fix. If not, just do what I do and buy a pre-paid card from Amazon (or whoever) and take your CC info off PSN, it's slightly slower then going through PSN, but that doesn't seem to be an option for you.
Could be, though I think he's referring to them literally going downhill by, laying off a large chunk of their workforce, including leads devs, who have worked there for year, on some of their most beloved games and putting pretty much everything, but H1Z1 on hold indefinitely.
@DLC
Might be different now as I haven't played the game in ages, but I remember you could buy care packages that almost always came with a good gun and ammo, which were hard to find. So it could be due to that, though other players could steal them, so it never really bothered me that much.
Losing Everquest Next is a much bigger deal, though without Sony's money it seems we've all lost that, which is a shame, as it looked pretty great.
H1Z1 although much better than DayZ, still hasn't really came close to reaching it's potential, and probably never will.
You needed proof? Isn't it pretty much common sense?
Just like PCs also hold PCs back.

MGS5 is, in my opinion, the best playing stealth game of all time, it's just everything else let's it down, the gameplay is smooth, responsive and complex enough that you can approach encounters in a lot of different ways.
It's also good enough that going in all guns blazing isn't a death sentence, like with past MGS games.
If you don't want to pay for 5, you can probably find Ground Zeroes for cheap and get an idea ...
What did you hate about 4? If it was the constant cut-scenes, 5 won't be an issue. You also don't really need to know anything about the overarching story, as it barely adds anything good to it and uses very little, besides a few characters, from it.
Has great gameplay, but gets really repetitive later on. Runs really good on all platforms too, if low or inconsistent FPS bothers you.
No, unless they make them actually play differently. Like If they are weaker, but can move around faster, I'll play more stealthy, if they are bullet sponging tanks I'll attack head on. If they just play the same as the male character, I'll play them the same.
The EU model is. NA is 500GB though.

Pay, though on Xbox you get a one hour free trial, if you have Gold.
I wouldn't be completely against Sony also jumping on the early access train, but they should make sure devs can't just take their money and run, like a lot sadly do. How they do that, I don't know, but guaranteed refunds would be a good start (though I'm sure that'd be abused by consumers).
A smaller team doesn't automatically mean longer development times (look at Platinum or From, who are relatively small for their out-put), and with high quality, low priced, developer friendly game engines more common than ever, it doesn't really take more time than previous gens either, just good developers and good management (having a smaller team makes this a lot easier).
Also Kojima has clearly stated, his next game isn't going to be a massive scale project l...
