Killzone 2 was great, especially the MP. 3, Liberation and Mercenary were good too. The other 2 were meh though.
Honestly after seeing the concept art for the cancelled Jak game, I think it'd be best if they just left it to rest. It ended fine enough, and all a forced sequel, that ND had little passion for, would do is just ruin the memory of the previous games.
I'm still holding out hope Sony find a good enough studio to take the reins though, would be nice to have at least one more adventure in the Jak universe.
1, I gave you 1 in my comment, keep up. Look up PS MP games, if your fanboyism as blinded you so much that you think a 2 year old console offers more MP games than a 2 decade old platform, I can't help you.
2, Gears never had a big " esports" presence.
3, Neither does KI (which is a shame as it's pretty fun to watch), and Guilty Gear Xrd is just as big (read small), as KI, also really fun to watch.
4, The guy who won Evo 20...
Source? Because the actual development started in 2014. http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
I promise you FF7 Remake (at least part 1) will be out in 2017, the final part mightn't be til 2019, but I doubt it, unless each part is massive.
FF7 Remake will probably be out next year (it's 20th anniversary), well part 1 at least. We've seen gameplay and it started development almost a year before it was announced.
I completely agree with announcing stuff too early though, some just get to the point where I hear and see so much, that I just stop caring.
The God of War games have always put gameplay over story (which is pretty much just angry arse-hole killing everyone because he got tricked/is an arse-hole), using it as an example makes very little sense.
Also saying something will be the best of the year (especially when that year is looking like it could be an exceptionally good one) before it's even got going is over-hyping something if I've ever seen it.
Anyways, I think games like Shovel Knight...
@Lennoxb36
Plenty more than has been on the Xbox One (which is what we are talking about), Socom probably being the game that had the most potential.
I'll compare what I want to compare, if it upsets you, deal with it, I don't let pathetic fanboy bias blind me.
Oh, and lol at being on the MLG circui, like that means anything, MP isn't just competitive and the last Xbox game to be relevant at the pro level was Halo 3, most don't care a...
Both are lacking in great MP & SP exclusive games, so to say 1 is the best at either is silly, neither have really gotten started yet.
Looking at the upcoming exclusives though, both seem to be leaning more on the SP side, with only really Sea of Thieves and WiLD being decent looking MP focused exclusives.
@martin's reply
Their first party was pretty much on an off year (this year they will more than make up for it though), I think only SCE San Diego was the only one to release anything "AAA", 3rd party picked up the slack though and delivered with the exclusives.
I think localization is on the Publisher (at least the hiring part), though not a 100% sure, might be a shared responsibility, depending on how much needs changing.
They pretty much have, Syndicate for example had about 10 minutes worth of modern day time, all of it being cut-scenes and with most of it being the ending cut-scene. It's building to something (extremely slow) though, so I doubt it's going anywhere for a few more games.
I think it's also taking into account software.
If the porn industry take VR seriously I wouldn't be too surprised if it gets close to that. I doubt games alone would come close though.
Probably a DDoS attack or Sony were testing something which took everything down.
Make it your primary PS4 and problem solved.
You can do it through account settings.
@Bladesfist
GAME rip you off regardless, Tesco usually have good day 1 prices around the £40 mark, and there's plenty of online stores that match them or give you better day 1 prices. GAME almost always charge £50 - £55 day 1, same with PSN and XBL store.
Even if AAA is a completely meaningless term now, due to everything being AAA , even when they are objectively not (basically 99% of games that release now). I don't put remasters in the same category as brand new AAA releases, and F2P is F2P, there is nothing AAA about Fable Legends, look up what AAA means if you don't believe, few games actually meet the requirements to be considered AAA.
Hence why I said "mostly", not "all", and neither of those are AAA, 1 is a remaster, the other a F2P fighting game.
Some people just like all their games in one place, having them spread across multiple services just annoys them, which is understandable. Personally never really had much of a problem switching between stores, but if I can get it on Steam, i usually will.
Probably not ,I'm assuming the cross-buy games will be for a select few (mostly indie) games and not everything, though It'd be nice if it was.
I doubt it, R* and Niko's VA didn't part on the best of terms.
