Remedy are an independent studio and Sam Lake and Neil Druckmann are friends, they aren't each others competition, you can't even play the games on the same platform.
PRE-ORDER CANCELLED!!!
No, but being serious, this is disappointing if true, was looking forward to seeing Donut Drake in the cut-scenes and doing a rope swing off a building, elbow dropping a poor unfortunate guy.
It's gameplay footage, when the embargo lifts we'll start getting videos.
Also, there's a ton of footage on YouTube of the rope swing mechanic in action, and characters leaping around from the 2 betas. It was very responsive and smooth, a massive improvement over it's predecessors.
Wow, so this is what a full fanboy meltdown looks like?
Maybe next time don't get carried away with all the pre-release hype, because it's getting pretty sad seeing you go out of your way damage controlling mostly decent-good reviews, in every QB article, it's borderline spam at this point.
It all arbitrary at Metacritic, it's not open to everyone, just websites, or print publications they deem worthy, but being popular pretty much guarantees they'll reach out, regardless of the quality.
They also don't accept video only reviews, so if there's no written piece, you'll not be on Metacritic.
There's also sites who just don't want to be on Metacritic for whatever reason.
At the very least end Masterchief's story, I honestly stopped caring about him after 3, and from what I heard he's barely in 5. A new trilogy in the franchise, with new protagonist, story and in a different time in the universe, might pull me back in, more MC will just keep me away.
I should add I don't really care for PvP multiplayer in any game, so having good PvP doesn't do anything for me.
Yeah, I hope they bring it back, didn't really mind "SONY Computer Entertainment Presents", but it was always a little boring, a nice little dose of nostalgia before every exclusive would be nice.
I'd assume so, there's already a leak of it on one of the Asian Xbox One store, and I really doubt it'll be an exclusive demo.

LOL, this guy is just too good.

Also we'll get a demo, is great news, missed out on the last one.
Uncharted 4 and Mirror's Edge are definites for me. I'll see what impressions are like for Doom, if good might get it to pass the time between U4 & ME2, but will most likely just wait for a sale.
TMNT is a probably, but sometime later.
There was someone on a french forum who leaked play times.
According to him, including the live action in every playthrough :
-His first play through took him 8h15 while exploring and searching for a maximum of objects (i don't know what he refers to)
-His second playthrough took him : 6h45-7h while making different choices. He spent a bit of time looking for other objects.
-Third playthrough : he rushed and it took him 6h. He made the cho...
The reveal trailer gave us a tiny view of a snowy environment, so they're in there. Personally really wanna see more of that city they do an overpass on, but at the same time wanna go in as blind as possible, it's going to be really hard trying to ignore any more videos though.
Maybe all the garbage clickbait "is X game going to be the greatest" titles, have a way of drawing them out. It doesn't help that the other fanboys can't resist giving them attention either.
Though it is a little entertaining watching them all argue about things they don't have a clue about, like which has sold the most, all while using outdated, unofficial information.
Also what's there to talk about? We know very little about the game, and ...
It's a new engine, don't think From have ever named it publicly, so people just call it the Bloodborne engine, because it was the first game to use it.
Although From are great with the game design, level design, combat, lore, artstyle, etc, they've never been much on the technical side, pretty bad all things considered, so I'd never expect them to get the best out of any platform. Disappointed they still haven't sorted the frame pacing issue though, I ass...
It added an extra platform, stretching the budget and became mandatory for MP, giving Sony less need to keep people happy.
I really do think Sony should drop one of the platforms, or at least lower it from 2 games each, to maybe 1 for Vita, 1 for PS3 and 1-2 "bigger" games for PS4, will definitely piss off a few, but so does offering (for the most part) good "smaller" games, so it's a lose lose either way, and I think cathering to the PS4 audience will makes les...
Yeah, that's pretty much me now too.
I still have Plus (even though I pretty much never play MP), because it still saves me way more than it cost, but I don't get excited like I used too, I remember it being a monthly highlight, especially in 2013, but now I look forward to seeing what it discounts, more than I do about the "free" games.
But who is left for him to kill in the Greek mythology? Outside of a reboot, another prequel or them just not making a GoW 4 (they already let slip they are, so scratch that one off the list), there's not much left.
They could set up pretty easily why Kratos could be fighting the other mythologies, with something like, after seeing the destruction Kratos caused, they (which ever mythology they choose, maybe even multiple) attacked him out of fear. Hell maybe even by sendi...
Oh, didn't know that, it doesn't look like the controller has anything on it though (unless it's on the back). Would be a nice touch if they engrave it on the touchpad though, but I doubt they will.
Nope, ND are fully owned by Sony and they have no store to push on PC, so no reason to take potential sales away from the PS4.
The Souls games do have an easy mode, it's called summoning, makes pretty much every area and boss easy, as the A.I struggle tracking multiple people.
If you can't get far enough for easy mode to be viable, maybe the games just aren't for you.
