From reading a few impression of people playing it early and watching up to the second boss, the game has a lot of Bloodborne influences, the biggest being more visual than gameplay, but the gameplay looks just as fun and almost as fast depending on the weapon and build. So you'll probably like it. I'd say give it a try if you have nothing else you want in April.
Maybe Sony should drop one of the platforms, it'll give them more money to spend on "bigger" games, but I'm sure if they did that, we'd still get hundreds of comments of people crying.
Hopefully MS can keep up the quality too, 1 great month out of 12 is still mediocre.
@Rookie
Considering one of the DLC tours is called "The Long Goodbye" and they released an expansion called "Finish Line" (the event that tweet is referring to) yesterday, I really doubt they got the news just before Sony announced it, they've likely known for awhile.

By the sounds of it, they are already planning their future and they ...
From Software wasting their amazing level designers' talents by going open world, would be awful.
@RiPPn
Gawker got everything they deserved, they ignored a direct order from a Judge to take down the abomination (the Hogan sex tape), and Hogan milked them dry for costing him millions.
Digital Homicide don't have a leg to stand on, I wouldn't be surprised if this is laugh out of court, if it even get's that far. I look forward to Jim ripping them a new one, letting it heal and then doing it again, when he wins.
@Kurt
Welcome to the law of dismissing returns. Nothing is immune to it, especially not the video game industry.
Congratulations Naughty Dog, now we wait knowing the game is done. :(
So much for the "rumours" [read as pointless speculation based on nothing], about it not going Gold this month and Sony lying to cover for development issues.
At this point I'm not expecting any versions to release, game must be in development hell for Sony to drop it. Hopefully Tequila can get it shorted though, game looked great.
I think it's just them playing it safe more than anything. No need to commit to anything, without actually discussing it with the others first. Just a simple "we have no problem with it" response will do for now.
Though I doubt either will really push cross platform play in public much, just because it involves name dropping the other. Most of the talk will be done by the 3rd party publishers, who will probably milk the hell out of it.
No, they basically said, we've never had a problem with it and still don't, it's up to the devs.

There are already a few games on the PS4 that let you play with people on the Wii U.
- Dreii - PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Wii U, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android
- Pure Chess; Wii U, 3DS, iOS, Android and PS
- Cubemen 2; PS, Wii U, Linux, Mac OS, PC and iOS.
I think it's Dragon Quest X, that will support ...
The reason the industry crashed in NA (it was still booming everywhere else), was because there was too many consoles on the market and a lot of overpriced garbage shovelware releasing for them. We still have aways to go before there's a risk of that happening.
You do know people have been using controllers that can do everything the Elite can do for years right? There's even people who can use a KB&M on consoles, using a certain little device.
The timed DLC could cause issues though.
I think the TLoU showed them, that the Naughty Dog name is enough to sell a game (It being really good helps too), so they are willing to end Nate's story now, before it gets stale.
How long Sony let it rest for is anyone's guess, but I really don't think we'll get another from ND.
They went back to 1 main team after Amy Hennig and a few others left. They do have a really small team who do the planning and a lot of the early work for their next project(s) though, so they won't be wasting much time when they move over to it.
It still wouldn't be the worst thing from the Fable franchise (hell, a sub-par entry would actually be a big leap in quality, compared to the last few releases in the franchise) that MS gave a chance, so why would anyone care about what some people on the internet thinks about it?
Putting all that time and money into something, only to throw it away when it's nearly done, is just so wasteful.
I'd hate to be one of the poor guys who put 4 years of work into...
Bad song choice, it didn't go with what was being shown at all. I thought what was shown was fine, maybe not enough, but I'd rather have a vague launch trailers, then a spoilery one.
That's a legal requirement for a company over a certain size here, they'll most likely be closed once everyone has been sorted, it usually takes 30 days but can go up to 60+ depending on how big the redundancies are, lucky the former employees will still be paid in that time.

From me? Eurogamer touched on it a bit with their story.
@Dead
The almost always give the people from their 1st party studios options at their other studios, which is something at least. Studio Liverpool for example, a lot them got offered jobs at either Xdev (based in the same building) orEvolution, which is close to where they used to be based.
Evolution's somewhat recent lay-offs all got offered a job at Sony's new North West studio.
Yeah I'm not watching a nearly 2 hour video (all I'm seeing linked) to hear what he says. I'll just go by the quote you cut out, the quote which doesn't say anything about Layden lying about it most likely going gold later this month.
Although I agree with it not really having anything to do with Uncharted 4 (besides it being the same colour as one of Nate's shirts, I guess), I completely disagree with it being ugly, it's a really nice colour, and one of my favourites so far.
