Resistance has gigs and gigs of duplicated data all over the disc to improve seek/load times. the developers themselves confirmed this. its also all uncompressed just 'because it can be', which further hinders load times.
in reality, Resistance 1 would be a 3-4gb game.
more space used != better or bigger game. the size on the disc has absolutely nothing to do with how good a game looks or how long it is.

all well and good, but these screenshots arent in-game, and the car models arent the in-game ones either.
they look fantastic, but theyre just ultra-high LOD models and would never be able to actually run in the in-game engine. you will not see these car models in any user-controllable gameplay.
the way i see it is that if you get this jailbreak, youll save far more money than the cost of a second PS3 by renting games and ripping them to your HDD.
so you buy a second PS3 to play all the new games or online games that you cant play on the jailbroken one, and you use the jailbroken PS3 to play any of the hundreds of games that are already available.

its ridiculous how much XP you need to get to level 100, i dont know how some people did it with standard 1x XP.

yeah same deal there. i dont really know why the developers let Epic appear like theyre making the game, always doing all the press stuff for the games. probably just because people know Epic and Cliffy B, so it gets their game out there.
