not used in the same way though, or to the same extent.
did you get the first DLC for Alan Wake?
if they hadve used the new mechanics from that - the 'floating words', the 'chase' sequence - in the full game, it wouldve made the gameplay less repetitive, and mightve given it some higher review scores.
personally, Alan Wake is my game of the year so far. i cant remember the last time i was so enthralled with a game. Bioshock maybe? its a brilliant game, and i feel sorry for PS3-only owners who cant ...
having owned a psp and ds since launch, i have to say the DS is the much better handheld console. its battery lasts longer than 4 hours unlike the PSP, its games are made with portability in mind unlike the PSP, and its much easier to just chuck in a bag and take with you (i got a small chip on the top of my PSP just from basically looking at it the wrong way lol).
the DS also knows what it is and does that thing well - play games. the PSP tries to do too many things, and doe...
ive never seen the need for a movie based on a game thats wholly based on other movies already, which is what Uncharted is. Uncharted doesnt have an original bone in its body.
if it HAD to happen, i agree with Dragonfodder: Joe Flanigan should hands down play Nathan Drake. looks like him, has the same sort of charisma/on screen presence, and is a good actor.
thanks for the reply. bubbles to you.
question - say i was to join PS+ this month..........is everything that was free LAST month still available to me for free? or is anything that is free ONLY free for the month that its released?
anyone saying that Killzone 3 will wipe the floor sales-wise with Crysis, even just on PS3, needs their heads examined. Killzone 3 didnt even manage to 'wipe the floor' with ANY other big-name FPS titles on the PS3, barely managing 2 million copies sold WORLDWIDE.
Crysis 2 on 360 will EASILY outsell Killzone 3 on the PS3, and Crysis 2 on the PS3 will at least be on par sales wise with Killzone 3 IMO.
itll probably be the better game as well, but thats...
The implementation of Move into Heavy Rain is EXACTLY what people refer to as 'tacked on waggle controls', which is exactly what people DONT want for Move.
its not 1-1 motion tracking, its just following a little on-screen waggle command to get the quick-time event to do the right action. this is the kind of implementation that will re-confirm everyones opinions that Move is just Wii HD.
ill gladly buy NBA Elite 11 just for NBA Jam. if NBA Elite isnt any good, i can just take it back to EB for a full no questions asked refund, but keep NBA Jam. win-win.
and who cares, its only money.
"Uncharted 2 won over 150 industry awards"
no it didnt. there arent even 150 "industry awards". it won 150 awards from websites/publications. dualshockers probably gave it about 5 awards. sony defense force wouldve given it about 20 awards. if 12 year old little joe blow sony fanboy down the street with his ilovesonytheyarethebestest.com gave it 5 awards, that counts for as much as 5 awards from IGN/Gamespot/Edge/etc to you sony fanboys.
well if this guy just asked his 'good friend' how hes playing killzone 3 then there wouldnt be any mystery about it, would there?
photoshop is most likely.
ill gladly pay $15 for 5 more maps that make online play have less repeated maps.
i didnt buy the resurgence pack though, as i havent really played MW 2 for a few months due to other single player games and going away on holidays. now with Reach around the corner, i probably wont play MW2 again for a while so theres no point buying them.
its funny that every sony fanboy under the sun is saying that this is an LBP-ripoff, but its blindingly obvious that hardly any of them have actually watched the trailer or read about what the game actually is.
its NOT a platformer. its NOT a level creator for platformers. it is a PROBLEM SOLVING game. you manipulate objects in the levels to solve puzzles, like 'get object A from this point to this point'. you dont control a character like sackboy in LBP, and you dont...
in your opinion theyre worth seeing several times. after i completed it i had no inclination to play it again, as the set pieces are exactly the same every time.
and Limbo has hidden goodies too, btw. the whole game of limbo is worth seeing several times IMO.
this whole article is basically a guy whinging because hes not smart enough to figure out how to beat the traps/puzzles lol.
Limbo IS an amazing game, easily one of the best games ive played this DECADE. sure, it might not have replay value - but neither does Uncharted 2s single player, and you all love that. what it does have though, is 3-4 hours of just pure gaming brilliance. no gimmicks, no dodgy controls, no lame game mechanics put there to artificially make the game har...
@1Victor: "Now I wonder how will this game operate on the 360 will MS allow EA the freedom to have players go to a outside uncharted world of play, create an share? or will they deny the best part of this new genre share for free only time will tell."
well people have been free to play, create and share all of their user created content in Forza 2, Forza 3, Halo 3, etc for years, so why would it suddenly be a problem?
oh right, you think that Sony ar...
thats not it at ALL lol.
the problem was not with people who had updated their HDDs. it was for people who WANTED to update their HDDs - the new firmware update wouldnt let them. anyone who updated previously was fine.
to reiterate - the problem was for people who downloaded 3.41 and THEN tried to upgrade their HDD, NOT people who upgraded their HDD and then updated to 3.41.
good on sony for fixing it so quickly, but shame on them for not adm...
my favourite part was where this guy obviously knows nothing about resolutions.
"1280x1080 to be precise, which means that the scaling runs vertically, but, crucially, not horizontally."
so apparently going from 1280x1080 to 1920x1080 is VERTICAL upscaling, even though its the number of HORIZONTAL lines that are being upscaled lol. hint: the first number in a resolution is the horizontal, the second is the vertical.
a few other thi...
The R8 wasnt in GT4, which means its a premium model in GT5. all new cars that werent already in a GT game are premium models, as they had to create their models from scratch.
cars that were in GT1-4 however, will be using the same PS2 models but upscaled.
*Insert generic first party quote talking up their console here*
Seriously, it doesn't matter if this is Naughty Dog or Turn 10 - it's all just PR speak. How this gets it's own article is beyond me.
