Maybe I'm just a cold hearted bastard but why is it so important to cry from a game?
Yup, they have a great knack for oldschool level design in an open world.
Played what game? I'm commenting on the fact that despite an increase in digital revenues, companies like this insist that piracy is eroding their PC market interests.
Do you even know how to read?
Ok. Do people like this even know what it means to review a game anymore?
It is time we split game reviews into an Objective score that is comprehensive of the, you know, actual gameplay. If the game isn't broke, it shouldn't be rated less than a 5/10. Graphics comparison is a moot issue here. Naturally, a small budget indie game isn't going to compete with the likes of Naughty Dog or Crytek.
The other section should be the subjective score. ...
So, your sales up. But you insist on pirates ruining the foundations of your industry.
Suck.
My.
Dick.
Yea, she seems to have a genuine love for video games and isn't annoying as fuck/
Pretty sure Nintendo doesn't own the Star Wars IP.
Please people, buy this GOG and not Steam. It's a matter of principle really, support non-DRM products.
Spiritual successor and nothing more.
I don't get it. It's a legit reference, and those of us that were fans of The Wire will enjoy the article. I know Kotaku generally sucks a fat one, but why the hate for this?
What is funny is I often see this game talked about as one of the worst of 2013. When I remind people that they haven't even seen any gameplay to make that judgement I get down voted.
Well haters, suck it. Suck it down hard.
I hope there's an impending Warriors release on PC. Pullllease R*!
Insominiac is a bit like Rare imo. They had an entire gen where they made these novel platformers. After that they started pumping out generic shooters and uninspired pastiches of their former platformers.
Visceral has proved a pretty average developer on all non-Dead Space fronts.
Looking forward to digging into Dead Space 3 when this semester is over though. Hopefully I won't be too disappointed.
Looks about as boring as they come.
The best game I've played all year was Hotline Miami. Nice graphics will only get you so far these days when your game plays like CoD.
I never got the fan backlash. People that complained about it being too bright obviously had no knowledge of the history of noir.
As far as the gameplay, I thought the level design was stellar and really complimented the gameplay. Cover was always there if you needed it and was a great addition, you could dive from cover, land on your back, and roll back into cover.
Lets just keep any game with promise from Dyack's hands, shall we. If history has taught us anything, it is that Silicon Knights was a competent but lazy studio that only ever delivered a quality game when it was backed by a better studio.
No need, he'll just break out his DOSBOX emulator and save himself the headache.
This game looks so awful and yet is being hyped up for reasons I no longer understand. In an alternate universe, this would be getting as much publicity as Xmen Legends.
