I'm with you Bruce, 100%!
Although, I must say you are brave to fight them!!! Not so sure I would be willing to risk what I own, but then again I'm sure you researched this enough to know that you have a good fighting chance.
Hopefully this news will spread so Evony will back down.
edit: I'm not condoning this, but clicking ads might cost the company a pretty penny.
I mean, if you pay $50 annually, you must deem it is worth it and probably play it more than a your average Joe. This might ensure higher skilled players.
I'm not saying, there aren't good players on PSN, but rather the gamers on Xbox Live probably play more and hence attain better skill. Of course this is just conjecture.
I suck, so getting someone I can beat is more fun for me though, but I will kick ass in Ninja Gaiden II!!!
Wii is gonna sell like hot cakes this Christmas again!!!
Personallly, not a particular fan of Wii, but got to admit it is a fun family thing and that is why it sells. Something that both the PS3 and Xbox 360 lacks in comparison.
I still prefer my 360 and PS3 over the Wii though.
I don't know much about NVG, but I always thought those were expensive as hell. I will be getting the hardened edition or regular. Don't want to spend $150 on MW2, although it is tempting.
Already getting NGS2 CE, Halo 3:ODST Regular Edition and MW2. Maybe Muramasa and Wii Sports Resorts. That's like what $200+ right there.
I agree with wiitactoics on the fact that prior there were no need for third parties to invest into a different platform other than the Playstation since it was the dominating console.
Sony lost the footing and well many of these games found a new home and more profit for the publisher/developers. The so called exclusive titles such as FF and MGS existed on the Nintendo platform, prior to it's virtual exclusivity to Playstation.
So the game just moved from Nint...
On the top of my head:
Forza 3
L4D2
ODST
Halo Wars
There are plenty for next year too, but if you don't wanna like the exclusives then that's another story!
... How does a site like that survive. That is one site to never come back too. UGH!!!
LMFAO!!! Funny as hell.
"Snake would start by stealth fondling Sam and rubbing his 'stashe against his lips in the dark. Then he would sneak up behind him and strangle him with his thong. When he's done he goes back to hiding under his box of shame.
On a serious note, Ryu Hayabusa would win by mass decapitation."
Agreed! Ryu will win all!
The game despite all it's hype had choppy game play with frame rate issues. Without the production quality, the game would have been at best a mediocre game.
KillZone 2, way over hyped and because of that totally ruined my experience of the game. CoD4, still the king of FPS.
Haze was barely worth the $10 I paid for it. It would be worth nothing, if it weren't that cheap and featured co-op. I was willing to pay $10 for it to play co-op with my brother.
To...
Yeah, but isn't MS the one footing the bill for bandwidth for the FREE DLC? So after the DLC is created, MS is the one footing the bill for the recurring cost.
Sony charges a fee $0.16 per Gigabyte downloaded to publishers....
source: http://kotaku.com/5177036/p...
The difference is still going to be 3 mins, because the difference on that test with just a 25-30 MB difference was more than 3 minutes while the whole download was about a 1GB. Considering a 5GB download, you are looking at around 15 minutes difference.
Of course, this really depends on what server you were downloading from, where you are located and so on....
I really don't think singling out a feature is sufficient to say if Live is worth it or not. It's like...
My experience has been that they take about the same time.
Initially, PSN was dog slow. It took like 40 minutes to get a firmware update, but we narrowed it down to a possible hardware conflict of some sort.
Now that is resolved for the most part, I think I'm actually hitting my bandwidth limit and that is why they are the same....
Check these n4g comments on an article about increased sale in US for Sony:

Then check out these for increased sale for MS (this page here):

Clearly this site is riddled with MS haters!!! Overall increase is goo...
these things are kind of distracting. Now give us some free themes in the US!
A Ninja Gaiden or MGS theme would be awesome!
A terrible game!!! You know what is a good deal? A great game!
I don't care if people question the deal because they THINK or ASSUME things about the game. What we have been told:
- released on TWO discs i.e. enough content to put on two discs! Let me repeat TWO!
- Single player campaign 10-15 hours on one disc
- Separate disc for multiplayer with new modes and all the DLC maps available
- Access to Halo: Reach Beta which is a nice addition.
...
Agreed! The phat PS3 is better looking than the slim from what I can tell. It also has the ability to install an alternative OS (Linux), but I doubt many will use that feature.
The 65nm Phat PS3 is already so quiet that noise will probably not other me. I would try and snag a 160GB Uncharted bundle for around $300-350 if I didn't have a MGS4 LE PS3!!! Paid an arm and a leg for it though!
and will put pressure on the other two companies. Wish there were a fourth contender!
there seems to be no incentive for Konami to do so. Why? Because the Trophy patch wouldn't be another reason why the games would move of the shelves.
If anything, two years down the line they will patch it in and release it as a new version for sale on disc. Konami seems to have a history of that.
Sony might just start getting crappy ports from the Wii....
Natal might not be accurate enough to create the revolutionary experience it is supposed to like the dissappointment with the Wii.
newzealander clearly says:
"ok then kushan name one good 360 exclusive thats come out this year and been worth buying. "
Let me repeat that, "come out this year".... fail to see how that means already released.
Besides 360 has plenty of upcoming games, so much so that I cannot afford to buy all these games or have enough time to play them. The back catalog is huge of both exclusives and multi-platform.
