The software (not the games) are clunky to use and often crashes, especially the browser.
They really need some help with the user interface. I don't even bother with the browser.

generally, once it hits release it is unlikely that any tweaks will boost the frame rate 60%. It might improve a little, unless something was already planned in which I doubt considering they could have pushed the Japanese release out to match the US release and did NOT.
Once it is a dud, it is likely to stay a dud (relatively speaking of course). However, 30 fps isn't bad at all and is only bad in relation!!!
- That the 360 has barely above quarter of the PS3 user base. Smaller market for the 360!
- Bayonetta sold out on the 360! So that number is the maximum it could have sold regardless of demand.
This means that the PS3 version didn't sell as well as it should, considering DMC sold really well on the PS3.

This doesn't cripple Xbox in any way, because a competitor got the same feautre (albeit less convenient) a year later....
If anything it is added value to the PS3.
The investment into PS3 is just that an investment into future profitability so is not an issue. One of the big issues are their competitor, Samsun, whom sells their TV at a higher profit margin and recently tripled their profits.
Sony right now can't seem to match that.... so that alone will hurt especially a company in the red. With that said, the company is losing less, but then again during these times the companies themselves will intentionally under-estimate profit and over...
Apparently nurses called in to warn the station that this might get dangerous, and the station dismissed it.

edit: looks like it will cost around $100 and a lot of the content is DLC. I didn't realize that on first read. The only tangible item is the box, the game disc and the art book....
Considering it comes with:
- an extra controller
- 130GB extra space for a total of 250GB
- CoD6:MW2 game
- a limited edition designed console
Tell me that isn't worth an extra $100 over the regular Elite!
