Ahhhh, that looks even better than I thought it would be. Natal translated the motions pretty well except for a slight odd clipping issue when the guy was doing a handstand. None the less AWESOME!!!
I just realized that by running the natal software on the 360, you can devote more processing power to it and reduce lag.
Basically, if your game is lag bound you can reduce it. That wouldn't be an option with a dedicated chip in the camera.
That just sounds wrong.
On the PS3 there is no issue of being banned for piracy, heck there is probably no issue being banned period as PSN isn't moderated the same way Xbox Live is.
On the Xbox 360, yes MS was able to detect cheaters/modders/pirates and banned a lot of consoles in November right around Modern Warfare 2's release. Now if they only could figure out a way to detect cheaters that use lag switches!
I don't think Gears 3 will be released in 2010. It's probably coming in 2011!

If it comes as a FEE patch, then nice! If it comes as a new release like Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (even though it has some new content) or paid DLC, then I will pass.
Then again, I always take additional options.
Give us a new experience that is designed around the motion control, not quickly augment it into existing games and re-release them!!!

The type of games that sell on the Wii is just different and it seems only Nintendo is able to cater to them.

You can still get Cerberus Network separately from the game on Xbox Live for around $15 so used game buyers aren't screwed.
It's just that the measly $5 savings you get at Gamestop no longer is a savings if you want the free content.

Well, you buy an iPhone or iPad from Apple and yo are essentially tied into their closed platform. They control what you can use and it has it's advantages and disadvantages.

I'm really interested in this game and probably will pre-order the Limited Edition. However, I'm afraid it will receive too much hype and my expectations will be met with disappointment.
As much as Heavy Rain is great (based on the reviews), there is no way it will be the turning point. Why? Because it is a niche title. Besides it got a measly 100k pre-orders. Respectable for a niche title, but no where near what a popular game alone sells in the first hours let alone the first day.
If anything, it should have been Metal Gear Solid 4, if not that then it was KillZone 2 and now we are hoping it will come with God of War 3 or Gran Turismo 5.

Or you can save your money and buy the regular edition. Most CE's aren't worth it, although I must admit I get suckered in to buy the most superawesome edition only to leave it on my shelf about a day later.
