This is at best the pot calling the kettle, but I suspect is just the the pot!
Gameonsmash unfortunately only give you one view and there are plenty of articles or even opinions in that one article to support the PS3. The FF XIII article points out where the 360 version could have been better. How is that biased? Clearly the 360 version was a rushed job and developed much later. Even the video encodes was of low quality as many sites have pointed out.
Missing feature...
That clip is enough to make me want to buy this game!
The sound effects were amazing. I'm so stoked about this game. If the reviews come in top notch, I'm buying the Collector's Edition!!!
What I like about the 360 are options. I'm not lumped in and forced to pay for something I don't use. Of course, this have it's downside. You end up paying more if you want those features, because the cost isn't averaged out to everyone.
If you don't like it, you have a alternatives. Both the Wii and PS3 are available so why complain here?
The key here are:
- cross platform development: Xbox 360, Windows Phone 7 and PC
- 90% of the code is shared between all 3 platforms
- seamless saving system for all 3 platform. start on your phone and pick it up where you left off on the xbox 360 or pc.
This is very exciting!
Yeah, remember when EA was the devil of the industry. Now it is Activision!
What does that tell you? That almost every company is the same, some just don't do it blatantly. There is nothing wrong with greed, because greed motivates people to do stuff. It is better than your average unmotivated Joe doing nothing.
Non-compete clauses are for the most part un-enforceable. The courts sees them as a companies means to prevent a person to earn a living using their skills.
That is how I felt too.
They upgraded the graphics and the cost was no gore and fewer/easier enemies. Basically they wussed out Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2!
So they focused more on the graphics and less on the gameplay.
LOL. People are trying to reason away what the is said in the article. it said what it said!
Get over your jealousy and let people that care voice their opinion. It's clear that there are the same people over and over saying the same negative stuff in every PRO MS article.
Do you guys even own a 360? If you did, you wouldn't be so negative about it and be happy new exciting stuff is coming out for it.
Just recognizing talent or great idea is in itself a feat!
Ask Verizon how they feel about passing on the Apple iPhone to AT&T.
The problem is Activision is the old evil EA. So it really doesn't matter what happens, or who wins. Either way, Activision in the fanboys eyes (and the ignorant) will be evil and wrong!
In fact, the vast majority doesn't understand how business works. This is one of the main reasons why stupid (read social) programs get enacted that is unsustainable. It should be required by our politicians that a business degree is required as the economy is the cornerstone of our society.
You have a choice. Buy a PS3!
If the avatar bothers you so much and you feel threatened by its existence as a reflection of yourself, the PS3 is just $300 away. If you trade in your 360, the difference is even less!
I believe this is an optional feature. You don't have to disclose your sexuality if you don't want to. You don't have to look at others profile if you don't want to.
It seems like complaining about this is as silly as complaining why there is a short bio section in your profile.
This is just more choices, so what's the big deal?
It is not conclusive, but at least gives more insight from a lawyer standpoint. Judging from approvals to this story, gamers don't care. They want rumors, speculation and somebody or company to lambast!
It's still a rumor and I think MS knows better unless they figured people would want Natal enough to pay that.

"Sony approached Hello Games, and the rest is history."
This is effectively the same thing, disguised under Sony's PlayStation Network Publishing Fund.
I kind of like the change of personality, but can understand the hardcore fans used to or expecting something else.
However, character change breaks the personality out from the mold a little and prevents the character from going stale. Besides normal people change personality as time goes by anyhow. Besides, don't you get tired of the same character in sequel after sequel?
Of course I'm talking from one that isn't vested into Sam Fisher. If Team Ninja all of sudden...
I loved spec-ops!!!
Could care less for maps though....
First of all the title of this news post is wrong. Activision didn't make $3 billion, rather it's sales revenue was $3B.
Profit != Revenue
Before everyone lambast Activision, consider the fact that back in IW early days, the studio is still a risk. Many studios get bought up and later disband. Just look at what happened to EA when they bought Bioware and Pandemic!
Let alone a studio that has not produced a single game! Basically, Activision was putting...
I bought the original Splinter Cell, but never really played it. However, I did purchase SC:Double Agent and I didn't like the fact that the game was very inconsistent. Examples were sometimes the guard would be extremely sensitive, and others they weren't at all. There was no reasonable explanation at all. The game was awesome, but the inconsistencies made the game frustrating difficult.
So I was looking forward to the reboot. So far so good!
I might buy the Limite...
I used to be concerned about my 360 taking a dive, but it hasn't ever. On the flip side, the most common problems with consoles is the disc drive wearing out.
I have a MGS4 Limited Edition console (the one with the gunmetal grey material) that I paid $650 after taxes! Since you can't install whole games onto the PS3, I'm concerned the disc drive will fail and the machine is way past warranty.
On a side note, Bad Company 2 is the closest a multi-plat I have seen com...
