Again.... it is not about Bruce, but about how Evony is doing very shady practices many are illegal (I experienced this firsthand on my very own site). Regardless of how you feel about Bruce, you are supporting a shady company.
Bruce is free to say whatever he wants and you are free to ignore him.
Maybe I'm giving you too much credit, by trying to explain this concept to you?
I mean after all the company is able to create a AAA game, but can't figure out that they can release a second disc?
Let's face it, Lost Planet isn't exactly an open world game that requires a lot of data to be available at all times.
I guess it is nice to shift the blame, but did it stop Capcom from making games for the PS3 when blu-ray discs were significantly more expensive than DVD?
The only issue I see is, CAPCOM WANTING TO MAKE MORE MONEY! Which is...
Basically, your argument is:
"I don't like his opinion, therefore it is fine for others to oppress him."
Not only is your (or even Bruce's) opinion irrelevant to Bruce's rights, but it only shows how ignorant you really are.
All I have to say is this:
"First they came for the socialists,
And I did not speak out -
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
And I did not...
I understand there will be people that play these old games, but the majority has moved on. I'm also sure there are some people out there still using VHS tapes as well. Let's not let the few ruin it for the many.
I agree that it sucks that you have to pay again, but that is just how it works. You don't have to buy it if you don't want too.
It sounds like you are more like a PC gamer and thus are used to free onilne gaming, dedicated servers and support that seemingly...
I find it interresting that this article talks about both the negative and positive aspects of PSN/Home.
Yet, all we hear about here is the negatives and how the article is biased. I guess, if you are a Sony fanboy the only thing you will notice is the negatives!
I will take back my comment calling you an idiot, but your comment is still idiotic.
It doesn't matter what Bruce is. Why do you care if he is a Xbox fanboy unless you yourself is a Sony fanboy?
Either way, it doesn't change the fact that Evony is a company that steals assets from other companies and uses shady tactics to force themselves onto websites that don't want them there and actively try to remove them!
Clearly, this is a bigger company trying to...
Keeping backwards compatibility has always and will always hamper progression. That is how it has been for almost as long as computer programming has been around.
I'm surprised, it was kept up and running for that long.
I heard somebody call my name and take about my greatness!
I agree with you. Let's add Google to the mix as well.
By the way, if you aren't a Sony fanboy on this site, you are automatically branded a MS fanboy regardless of your stance.
...
These companies are clearly making too much money.
You are an idiot!
Evony is an extremely shady company that not only steals assets from companies, but intentionally forces their ads onto other websites that actively try to get them off their site.
I hope Evony goes under!
It's like you hate cheese, then you purposely eat cheese only to complain about it?
hmmm... am I writing to 7-year old?
In regards to exclusivity? Why do you care if MS get's paid or not? Why is that even an issue?
Sounds like somebody has an agenda against MS.
Not only did we only hear part of the story, but the moderator in my opinion gave ample warning and was fairly decisive and polite.
Although the comment about forwarding to Jesus was uncalled for. However, we never heard the potential cheater speak so we really don't know how elevated the whole situation was. Since we never heard the potential cheater, I have a feeling he is hiding something.
I don't see how Xbox Live moderators are corrupt from this video though?
See, that is were people is wrong. They see overpriced accessories and assume Natal will be expensive.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but MS has a very good strategy in mind every single time. It wouldn't suprise me that MS will drop this into the market, not to make money off the accessory, but rather push more consoles and more software. That is how they make money, the software. The more consoles sold, the more software sold.
Just like how they push the console to yo...
"Sheesh....looks like psychos are on both consoles " -jolly
... and that suprises you? You think PSN is that much different from Xbox? The only difference is, Xbox Live is more popular. You get the same d!ckwads on both consoles. Enjoy!!!
You bring a very good point, but I would prefer a product have many potentials as opposed to none!
With "none", I mean already existing on the market....
The fact that Natal brings potential is exciting, because there aren't that many peripherals (or consoles) since the Wii that has had me that excited. Yes, many people dislike the Wii, but let's face it. The Wii is fun in certain settings, but the ideas has been explored to death.
With Natal, ...
....
It is even more simplified than that. The Eye tracks the Arcs depth by determining the size of the sphere on the controller. That is why it is a sphere, because no matter what angle you look at it, it will still be round!
Whatever Arc will be, we already know. The Wii is here and the Arc is nothing more than a Wii HD (if not less unless we get a nunchuck). To the user, they will barely notice any difference between Wii motion plus and the Arc. The accuracy already available in th...
I think based on the comments of Mark Rein, there are many benefits of being bought up by a larger company. I mean after all id software was recently acquired while spouting the financial viability of having a large company behind them.
To worsen the situation, development cost has been rising while independent studios are going bankrupt almost every quarter.
So if the price is right, I'm sure Epic would sell. The question is, do MS want them? The only reason I see ...
Yeah, I agree. I almost bought an Original Xbox brand new and sealed from ebay for around $100 a few years ago. Now, I can't find one on Ebay and certainly not below $200.
I'm actually glad there is some backwards compatibility. Wish it was 100% though.
