Why is this approved? It is some dude saying great things about PS Move. However, he isn't really saying anything other than spouting Sony advertisement.

If he was a high profiled developer, then it might be considered news. This is no different than a forum post by an anonymous dude. The internet has plenty of them.

I in some way wish my Xbox Live Gold subscription was free, but having it paid has it's advantageous. So far it seems paid subscription with premium experience has paid off for MS and in turn they are obligated to their consumer base to consistently push Xbox Live ahead of the competition. If not, their consumer base will rebel.

So far the consumers has shown that they are willing to pay $4 a month (less for savvy consumers like me) for premium online experience.

Man, the 360 line up is shaping up pretty good in the next 12 months.

What is going on with Sony? They usually release information really early, so by this time we should have heard about their 2012 releases. I'm sure Sony got a stellar line up stashed away, but it is a little unusual of them.

What big exclusives/multiplats are coming this fall? Other than Socom 4 and Halo: Reach.

Sorry, but every time somebody pulls up Heavenly Sword as a great game I feel compelled to say that I disagree. The game was choppy as hell and the game mechanics weren't that great. However, production value was very impressive.

I can think of countless other PS3 exclusive (and multi-platforms) games that are a huge leap up from Heavenly Sword. With that said, I'm assuming people is bringing up HS due to the game length. To me it was short, but I really didn't notice and don't t...

It seems to me that Unreal 3 games look really good on the 360.

Both Gears of Wars look great and Mass Effect 1 was stunning (although it had performance issues), but the second one is amazing and easily among one of the best looking games.

So I'm expecting great things from Gears of War 3. Really looking forward to it!!!

Yes, it is hyped by people a lot, but it seems like genuine interest not necessarily a marketing push from MS yet. Almost everyone I have heard try it have responded very positive to it. The only people that seems to be negative is here at n4g.

With the hype from the public though it is certain to not meet that expectation. Either way, from what I have seen, I'm pleased with the technology and hope for some excellent games casual or hardcore.

Yet all of this graphics talk has little bearing on the actual user experience. It is game play and art direction that affects game experience the most!

This game has received stellar scores from 3 publications, it's only con is the length which is in many ways mitigated because of the co-op mode that also has multiplayer.

That means, it could be anywhere from 5, 10 or way more hours of quality gaming. However, if you are going to let the length from stopping you from enjoying this game then too bad for you.

I think then you should go play some other repetitive, long and boring game. I'm sure it will feel like it l...

It does have an additional co-op mode that should take at least 5 hours to complete so without the multi-player component it is 10-hours long which most will spend more time than that.

I guess, you could spend hours grinding through a boring game or you could spend 5 quality hours. Your choice!

Although I prefer to have a longer game, I will take the latter.

There are plenty of hacking project that turned into great projects. An example is the Xbox Media Center and the custom firmware on Linux based routers such as Linksys WRT54GL.

I use the latter for my Wifi needs on the 360. Cost me $50 and it supports a heck of a lot more than most commercial routers that normally cost hundreds of dollars.

Part of the hacking scene is to share what they have found. It is the manufacturers responsibility to protect their business, not...

It's like the obese people get special treatment and get disabled parking spots. I don't want to sound insensitive here, but the vast majority of people that are obese get it from inactivity.

This wasn't meant as a stab at OP, but for Natal might just make gaming an exercise. I liked Punch Out on the Wii and it would get me all sore. It is not cardiovascular, but still better than finger exercises all day.

Well, Activision is a business and they aren't going to publicly say bad things about their own studio! That would be just idiotic.

Nedless to say, I personally think the guys are being well rewarded considering their situation. I mean they manage to demand that they have a say in all future CoD:MW games! That is worth a lot as a bargaining chip!

They are demanding $33 million in bonus and apparently a third of the bonus belongs to two guys. I think the only next gre...

Except these guys seemed to get paid the big bucks to do it. A third of the bonus alone went to them and they demand $33 million.

Remember, the publisher is the one that shoulders the risk. Just look at Activisions financial statement and the only way they made money is due to CoD. That means they must have poured in a lot of money into other projects that weren't profitable or isn't released yet.

It is kind of ironic how gamers will jump and attack the media for making violent video games the scapegoat for violent action in our society. Yet, when the tables are turned and hackers are portrayed as the reason why piracy exist, many gamers will jump on it and attack hackers just like the media.

Are hackers responsible for piracy?

Well, the answer is at best the hackers, are enablers. However, for piracy to exist it must have a distribution channel and people wil...

I don't get war games in old setting either, but apparently people like it.

I can't stand any WWII games and not really looking forward to the Vietnam War setting in the next CoD either.

I'm looking forward to Halo: Reach instead!

It's basically an article about lying and being dishonest.

With that said, if it is a faulty console it goes both ways so in some respect they are responsible for it. Yet, I do not condone being dishonest like that.

If anything I would rather have the skeleton mapping done on the 360. The 360 has vastly more power and than a small proprietary chip, even 5 years after the 360 launch.

Benefits:

a) lower cost

b) possibility for flexible use of the computing power to Natal i.e. increasing processing for decrease lag. Sure it might affect the look of the game, but games start at the controls.

c) likely easier to update the software

The only one ...

Fact is, that Sony themselves are not doing a very good job with the PSP Go. Consider this:

a) Many games for the PSP Go aren't released day and date with the UMD. Worse, there is no set time frame for when it is released. It could be days, weeks and etc or at all in Europe.

b) PSP Go is in almost every aspect a downgrade to the PSP-3000 and cost at least 25% more!

c) The PSP-3000 is getting a MGS:Peace Walker limited edition. What the heck happened to t...
