I looked at the first picture of PS Move and laughed my @ss off. Then I scroll down and look at the picture of Natal and laughed even harder!
This site has a good sense of humor!
Greywul only stares at grahics all day long, he doesn't play them. That is why he bought a PC and doesn't play on his PS3 that has sub-par graphics compared to his PC!
That also explains why he is in a 360 article trolling!
Personally, I play the game not the graphics!!! Any other gamers that only play graphics, besides greywul?
Ever played Ninja Gaiden 2?
Communism in theory by definition of Karl Marxx is not what I was referring to. I was referring to countries like China/Vietnam that is supposedly communistic (albeit more capitalistic now) is governed by control over their people. That is how most people I meet perceive communism, wetter that is true or not.
See that is where I disagree!
If Konami/Enterbrain feels it is libelous then they should sue, but not keep Kotaku out of the event. Those two things are entirely separate and to me seems childish.
It's as if you are getting back at Kotaku in other ways, by telling their parents or something....
Somebody reading about the game in Famitsu might not be aware of the press conference or the advertising deal until they buy the game. So I wouldn't say it is "in your face".
With that said, I think there should be some disclosure for the entire industry although it probably isn't practical.
It could or could not. I hope geohot comes through though!
I'm suspecting that consoles that don't have the newest update might become worth more if something comes out of it....
Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant for companies/individuals discussing stocks and such there is a full disclosure requirement. If you don't you are open to lawsuits.
"Wait a second here. How could "most" PS3's be bought second hand? I mean, think about this rationally: PS3s have to be bought new before they can be bought used... so how could the total number of used sales outpace the new sales? If that were the case, most of those second-hand PS3's would have to change hands several times."
Well, if you already have a lot of PS3s on the market and the used sales outpace the new sale, then most PS3 are sold used. The questi...
I fear what would happen if Apple dominated the computing space!
Apple will restrict what software you can run on your computer and restrict how many you are allowed to buy, own and use.
Is Steve Jobs a communist?
That is not geohot's custom firmware though.
I picked this game up for 400 points and on an even better deal picked up the points on sale!
"Bizarrely, the second most popular method of PS3 purchase was via signing up for a mobile phone contract and receiving the console as an incentive. A considerable 26 per cent said they'd gotten their PS3 this way."
Out of a 1000 people.... with that said, I highly doubt the legitimacy of this site.
Conflict of interest should be noted on the review itself. I think the whole thing is fishy by Konami/Enterbraind (Famitsu).
With that said, I also think Kotaku should have tested the game for themselves to see if it really deserved the 40/40.
Not only that, but I think it is unprofessional of Konami/Enterbrain to un-invite Kotaku Japan. The press is supposed to be independent and have free press.
What Konami/Enterbrain is doing seems only to make the whole situation more suspicious! How about they respond and explain how they stand behind the score and that they expect other publications to show that the game is of high caliber....
I think Brian Ashcraft points out a very important piece of information. There is clearly no disclaimer about a marketing relationship between Famitsu and Konami. This is the sort of disclaimer are required by law for companies to state.
With that said, there are no disclaimers when Konami advertises the game in said publication, this is just the opposite with the game advertising the publication.
Suspect? Yes. Common? No. Conflict of interest? Likely. Did the game d...
"I have heard from Microsoft and I've actually heard from EA we probably won't see Mass Effect 1 ever on PS3," said Pachter, speaking on this week's GameTrailers.com Pach-Attack.
Pacther heard from EA/MS that ME 1 won't ever come to the PS3... That is not a prediction, but information from two source albeit one is suspect.
That is only true, if companies are making games out of the goodness of their heart and giving the games to you for free.
As it is, every company out there is out there to make money. Employees has to eat too.... so no, your suggestion is like communism. Sounds great in theory, does NOT work in practice!
All this, it can only be done on one console is just PR bullshit. If you know anything about how computers work, you will know that.
I agree that hackers is part of the problem (or for the most part the sole reason for the problem), but at the same time do you blame pirates for DRM?
Piracy and hacking is part of almost any electronic device. It is the cost doing business, and a company shouldn't make the consumer pay for it.
I certainly hope that this gets more coverage especially from Europe where the consumer laws are more stringent. Somebody on that site mentioned Watchdog the TV show in the UK...
