Did you try any of the other game modes? They are blast!
Hunter and Last Stand are both excellent game modes. I'm finishing up my 1000 achievement score on this game. Only a about handful of achievements left...
Fantastic game!
....
That's like saying Blu-Ray or DVD is bad because there is technically only one format available.
It all depends on how the software vendor treats their developers and etc.
Personally, I hate Flash. Always has annoying ads, slows my C2D E8400 to a crawl and eats up my bandwidth. With that said, some content isn't viewable without Flash! Love and hate relationship with Flash I guess, but more hate!!!
This video is the most awesome evar. Is it on Xbox Live?
Well you graphics wh*res can go stare at a high resolution picture while I play a game the developer spent 6 years on creating a nifty story line, crafting an excellent mood and hopefully excellent game play!
Yep, I would rather have developers worry about game play, story and mood rather than graphics. I don't think I ever bought a game purely for graphics except for maybe KZ2, but even then that is pulling at straws.
I think it is in MS best interest to fund their own studio. When you fund another studio, that studio wants to retain the ip or have unfavorable deals.
Publishers like Activision is used to doing that sort of thing and probably has some provisions in the contract that will keep them going after the 10 years.
Anyone knows that in the gaming industry, it is cheaper to attain the talent in a company than to buy the company so all MS has to do is entice the employees of Bungie.
This is basically what happened with Rare. They bought this insanely expensive company and eventually the talent left and the only thing sitting there is a shell of it's former self. Same thing Infinity Ward is going through....
When you buy a company, you can only rely on the IP not the talent that i...
At this point it is too late for any one console maker to die. The user base of each console manufacturer is too big to ignore for most publishers/developers.
More and more we see games turning multi-platform. Most games were exclusive out of necessity, because in almost all generations there has always been one dominant player. Now a days, we got 3 significant players and a lot of great competition!
I have doubts about IW even after the 38 or so people sued Activision. Maybe IW got pissed off they are no longer the FPS star studio at Activision?
IW had some minor conflict with Treyarch and we find that Activision has been talking to Bungie in the last 9 months! Besides West and Zampella did something similar to EA when they startede IW!!!
Activision stock when up on the news, about 3%!!! A drop in the sea for a company worth $14 billion though, and almost is wi...
It seems MS didn't care enough to try and retain Bungie. They knew this might happen when they let Bungie go and I'm almost certain MS knows about this deal way before it is signed!
Seems like the one that missed the boat is EA!
The only real competitor to this deal is what EA could have offered and we all know EA want world domination as bad as Activision, so what happened EA?
Instead of debating, all I need to know is when I bought my PS3 it was advertised as fit for "Other OS" and to play all PS3 games. Now I get to choose, so that is false advertising!
There were no stipulation from Sony that there was a time limit on either feature, nor did I have to agree to any user agreements at the checkout line at my local retail store.
So Sony, I hope you loose and bring back the feature. I don't care about whatever check you may send, ...
Not to mention that there is nothing official about that list other than it looks like somebody printed it from their home printer....
With 2GB of data and such a mediocre game....
Well adding stuff is all fine, but are you worried Sony will remove stuff?
After all, they have done it once with the "Other OS"....
Those types of clauses are usually there to protect the company and is often written very broadly. Often times it unenforceable due to laws, but is snuck in the hope that:
a) the user will read the ToS and assume that they have no right to complain (although it might be otherwise under their country laws)
b) to be tested in a court of law in case the company can still get away with it
This applies to almost any company and any EULA, so it is technically ...
Although I agree that graphics is more important than loading times when it is miniscule and the graphical artifact such as jagged edges and lower resolution in cutscenes are so visible on the PS3.
With that said, most people don't care about 2 seconds extra or a few jagged edges...
It is always interesting to see what the differences are, but it really doesn't affect your enjoyment of this game.
I think LoT should make a comparison of games installed on the hard drive on the 360 as well.
If you allow one to be installed (in some cases this is optional), then you should consider the other that is always an option!
yeah, but I don't know if Bioshock was exclusive by contract with MS or if it was because the PS3 was still just trickling into the market?
I know this terrible sub 9.0 score is going to make me enjoy this game 10 times less. Last I checked, many great games were in the 8 region including Ninja Gaiden 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction, both excellent games!
But by all means, go by reviews alone. You will only find top grade titles like MW2, Halo 3, KillZone 2 and the list goes on i.e.. great games that differ very little.
