I thought the game was brilliant! A little slow start, but it picks up and the ending was one freaken omg moment especially since I'm still wondering and thinking about what it all means.
The game play mechanics where pretty awesome as well especially how they laid out the levels... I also like the way Remedy split up the game into episodes. I can't wait for the two next DLCs!
For Heavy Rain, I haven't played it so I can't discuss the quality...
Well, we already see what happens when you let the cat loose.
Forcing the developer to use the tools available first and foremost is the way to go and is what keeps everything consistent to at least a minimum quality. Anything else you ask Sony for permission is probably the best way to go...
It's true that Apple has a larger market share than MS, but keep in mind that just a few years ago they were a $50 billion company i.e. a fifth of MS.
The reason it is so high is not because of it's existing business, it is the POTENTIAL for future business. With anything like that it can become much bigger or it can disappear in an instant.
Almost everything about MS is more desirable on the balance sheet, the only thing missing is real killer growth...
It does say 11 min of NEW footage, and it is NEW footage technically speaking. With that said, you were duped by the site not MS.
The newer videos with what appears to be with newer software do exhibit much better response times. Even then the older videos didn't seem that bad, because it was at least able to do full body tracking that seem to already work really well.
Yeah paying for free things sucks, but even with a paid subscription model MS is running into licensing issues. Do you NOT think these legal issues don't cost money?
Point being, I always welcome new feature as long as it doesn't take away existing ones. I don't care if it is paid or not, because I have a choice!
If you prefer the slightly more cumbersome, but practically free option there is always Tversity and all their competitors.
Yeah, it is kind a funny how MS is expected to reveal everything at E3, yet people somehow expect some new information in between. That makes perfect sense!
Yeah, it is hard to believe those tiny little high end Intel processor can cost a fortune like $500+....
Doesn't the ball game track full body motion in 3D? Why would it change with a different game?
Admitting is the first step towards fixing the problem!
Your comment is offensive in the sense that you tried to twist my words unless you really want to read comments that only say "I don't care about this!"
Which is it?
The skeleton mapping and such is MS technology. The hand gestures to control the interface and the ability to get a 3D topography map is supposedly third party, so what might have been shown to Ninty and Sony is likely that.
The real beauty of this is not the 3D camera as that has been well researched and documented for a long time, it is the full body skeleton mapping that is new.
Furthermore, I don't know if Ninty has the budget to research this type o...
I agree with Alcon.
I think the only two things that can destroy natal is media criticism or a high price tag.
The technology from what I have seen on videos is working better than I expect and is far superior to what Nintendo introduced with the Wii in terms of being able to pick up subtle movements.
E3 will be the reveal! Anxiously awaiting for so many reasons including both MS and Sony's show!
err... Nintendo not so m...

I'm not saying that MS isn't ready, but rather that the market isn't because MS has CHOSEN to not push (i.e. marketed) it out yet. MS has once stated that this is like a console re-launch, and one month to do so isn't realistic.
I'm pretty sure MS will stick to their target date and plans.
I also expect them to show some really cool stuff at E3 for Natal!!!
To let us all know that you don't care?
This just goes to show that not every decision a GREAT game studio does makes sense. The "Combat Evolved" part is iconic to Halo.
The first time I heard Halo, I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't even know what the Halo part meant for the longest time. It's a one non-descriptive word...
Wishful thinking that it would release in a month! You would start seeing a lot more leaks through their supply chains with packaging and even the camera itself.
Besides all that, it doesn't make any sense as MS will market the cr@p out of the new name and make sure the world knows its coming before it does in MS fashion.
They wouldn't change their plan on a whim like that, but I could see Sony do it. Primarily because they have shown so much of PS M...
Here is the denial as well straight from the horses mouth:
http://n4g.com/news/535220/...
But we would all rather take news from somebody random in Australia that works at GameStop that some blogger ran into... They confirmed one piece of rumor and added another.
"Until we see more, we can't really know how much of the system Natal eats up. I've heard anywhere from 20 to 30% of the system resources, which, given that 360 games already have a bit less power to work with than PS3, may kill off high-end gaming using Natal."
So you don't know, you heard and then you assume which is the problem in general. Let's just wait and see when the actual unveiling happens instead of speculating based on another rumor or sp...
