that the Jedi mind trick don't work!
... curiosity can hurt!
@mnicholas above:
Illustrating your point by posting a year old video on software that isn't even finalized. With that said, did you ever see the video of Natal picking up all the break-dance moves?
http://n4g.com/news/482951/...
I'm sure you would rather believe that the technology isn't there since you seem to hate Natal.
Why ...
That article you linked to clearly says it was sent to IGN in an email from MS and they just reproduced on their website. IGN even stated it is slanted. If IGN "forgot" to put in that notice about coming directly from MS, it is IGN's fault not MS, but I'm sure you would rather have it appear the other way.
In case you didn't notice, MS is showing Natal to a bunch of bloggers to try and reach different audiences even before the product is released. Howeve...
"I have never experienced accuracy like this. I moved a finger – one finger – as it rested upon my leg. Natal detected it. I twiddled my foot slightly. Natal detected it. I sneezed. Natal detected it and offered me a tissue. No not really, but the first two are true."
I agree with you, that the problem is PS Home has no goal! There is no real rime or reason for why I want to be there and then the whole thing is a mess of downloading and reloading of spaces.
With that said, the comment is pretty funny People think PS Home "is sh*t"! LOL!
If the price really is $150, then I think there will be a lot of promotional sales type things. Just look at the Xbox 360 Elite, it's MSRP is $300, but you frequently get extra controller, gift card or games when you buy the machine. So something like that wouldn't be out of the question.
From the sound of it Natal already has a lot of third party support. Another thing is a Wii Fit at $100 could sell well not to mention the $200 Rock Band/Guitar Hero packages, then I...
I don't play MMO too much, but I can tell you that I have seen people grind and for the life of me cannot understand how that is fun. Heck, grinding also appears in ME as scouting and collecting minerals on planets. Boring as hell and pointless, so I like the direction that Bioware is doing!
Didn't know grinding was part of the cannon of MMO! Ugh!!!
I agree with you, because it is kind of stupid to make an article analyzing Natal based on rumors and speculation!
Besides, reality is that the $300 Wii was flying of the shelf when the economy was way worse than it is today! People were paying way over MSRP on the Wii on eBay at one point so I don't see why not a $300 Xbox 360 bundle wouldn't sell when a $300 PS3 would? Besides you can always drop the price, but not raise it!
Again it is all dependen...
I usually don't get to excited, but DANG HK got some of the best looking babes so far!
It sounds more like a bunch of the old timers that worked with West and Zampella for a long time is leaving.
Activision has a lot of studios under them and we don't see mass exodus or even the sort of stories like "EA Wife" so I think they are treated no worse than the rest of the industry.
Agreed!
What betrayal? I guess you can call it betrayal against fanboys!!!
"I was suitably impressed by the results, with the peripheral able to simulate just about everything I threw at it, including kneeling down, leaning my head forward, and waving my arms around manically- all at once. The things we do for science."
Actually, most of the major game developers have expressed great interest, potential and excitement for Natal.
It's just here at n4g.com you get a lot of fanboys ruining the site. However, I don't think the site owners care....
I didn't know a WEBCAM can do 3D!
So MS got some miracle brainwashing marketing technique that managed to get people playing Halo 3 online for the last 3 years. It's been topping the Xbox Live most played list for as long as it has existed. The sales leg are so long, it's got to be one of the longest running ones this console generation.
If that was the case, I would sell everything I own and buy MS stock!
Give credit where it is due. Halo 3 is a fantastic game online and the Halo: Re...
The key here is emulate! Of course you can't get true 7.1 out of 2.0 speakers.
For those that don't know, this technology has been around for a long time and similar technology (if not identical) is utilized on the Astro MixAmp, which have been given rave reviews and cost a whopping $130!
Astro is also the maker of the official headset of the MLG.
For the record, I'm not in any way affiliate with Astro. I don't even use their ...
Networking does take some computational power, but it is hardly hardware limited. The number of connection you make for one game is considerably less than a torrent client running. You can get those running on an ARM processor!
If anything, it is user connection speed limited and POTENTIALLY technology limited at best!
The pricing is on the high end of what I think MS might get away with, and adoption rates will take a hit. This is just a rumor, but matches the Swedish price of 1500 Swedish Kroner, which I mentioned in the past $1 = 10 Swedish Kroner in buying power.
With that said, MS is usually smart when it comes to pricing and they no doubt will have a good plan behind it. MS already announced this is like a console re-launch for them so I expect pricing to be lower. They intend Natal ...
It looks fantastic! Check out the full reveal at gametrailers:

He is talking sh!t about his own game, and the guy can't even get slack for that... Perhaps, you guys should just not click on news you don't like to read!
