So why will a Xbox 360 Slim not matter, but changes in color, size changes and in some cases removal of features would matter on another console like the PS3?
Although I think the lawsuit is justified against MS, it should have been done long ago before the 3-year warranty was issued. At this point in time, legally it doesn't hold any water.
I also believe that MS would have fixed the flaw long ago if they could, because any company will fix their problems REALLY QUICK if it hits their bottom line and hurts their profit.

Except the PS3 we now know that it was a reality, while a lot of Natal supposed facts are still speculation and rumor.
I think the only good argument here is one is a console, while the other is an accessory. It all depends on MS support for it and we will know in about 2 weeks.

I think it is more of an issue that game story and presentation is designed for a game not a movie. In fact, most game stories have very few character developments and plot. The game world itself though could be very large.
There are only a few games I can think of that meets the criteria, and that is Mass Effect and Alan Wake. Most other games should just stick to gaming. I can't even imagine how bad the Gears of War move is going to be, but I guess they can't top C...
I only played probably 2/3 of the game and on episode 4 or is it 5, but the game is fantastic. It is a slow starter, but it builds up by episode 2-3. I waste easily 2-3 hours without realizing it on a sitting.

I partly agree with Godmars here, but reality is that we get a new game every year, and most probably get a new cell phone every other year so this isn't that big of a deal if they continue to support the older device.
Finally, if you don't like how the company treats their "valued" customer, do NOT buy their products!!!

I enjoy MW2 as well. I don't really know what the hate is, but it seems people hate it mostly because it is popular.

There are so many good developers including Dice, but come on there are far better games than Bad Company 2. I enjoyed Modern Warfare 2 way more than I did BC2.
What about Bioware, Bungie, Infinity Ward, Epic Games, Blizzard, Naughty Dog, some other of Sony's 1st party and the list goes on....
Tell that to the PSP, where piracy is killing the platform. So yeah, using piracy to push your console isn't necessarily wise if your attach ratio goes significantly down. I don't think companies rely on that method to gain useless market share.
In my mind they are expensive because last generation around this time in the cycle the current generation consoles were at rock bottom prices. This generation only one console, the Wii, has hit the $150 and only another, Xbox 360, has hit the $200 mark.
Even worse is that the Wii price isn't even official, it is a sale to clear stock!
Sure consoles does more now, but that is how advances are in technology. I firmly believe consoles are overpriced at this...
