The game was available for people to try on the show floor at E3 so yes it was real time. Wetter you like it for Forza or not wasn't my point.
That is up to the developer to figure out.
"If you really want a big theater experience, of course you have to wear glasses," he said. "With the latest technology, the glasses are light and you kind of forget you're wearing them after awhile."
Really? Cuz I didn't!
Sorry guys, but PSN is moving the way of Xbox Live Gold paid subscription service. What you have now, is what you get to keep for free. Anything new though, will be a PSN+ required. Sony needs to make money too!
It just makes plain sense that Sony would do that. Good news is, for those only looking to play games will still be able to do that for free. Still pretty generous if you ask me compared to the competition.
I really don't care who came out with it first, only if it is usable by me. A half baked attempt or a feature that doesn't appeal does NOT matter!
You guys can argue about it though, but Sony, MS and even Nintendo copies each other. If they didn't, they would be idiots and idiots don't run billion dollar companies!
I think the extra power is needed for the motor. Not sure about the wireless cable though?
Does it matter? They showed Forza Kinect that looked amazing working with Kinect real time!
The fact that you have a 60GB PS3 means BC is not a problem now, but it will be if your PS3 fails which it will undoubtedly do if you spend significant time on it due to normal wear and tear.
getting it free would be nicer too!
If Sony would just give me a PS3 Slim and Microsoft the new Xbox 360 S for free, that would be better than charging me for it!
PC games almost always have 100% backwards compatibility, and you can almost always re-install the older OS or use it in a virtual machine instance.
Also, with hardware upgrades you practically get free HD collection games for free!
PC in many ways are superior to consoles!

"hey idlesung, chill out. You made it clear that your willing to pay $50 for a p2p experience. I'm not willing to do that. I'd rather pay nothing and get dedicated servers. No need to stress out over it"
Now you are twisting and putting words in my mouth. I said I like what MS offered on their Xbox Live service enough to pay for it.
However, we all know you are a fanboy here only out to troll in a 360 article. ...
What they should have done is made the case with smaller holes all over internally. Right now as it is, the case is exposed at the most important part and the big holes expose the disc.
Multiple smaller holes would keep the case still intact while reducing plastic. Maybe it is more expensive....
My parents lived during the Vietnam war and they talked about how the communist oppressed the people (and they still do today) so I'm intimately familiar with this. My parents escaped Vietnam many moons ago.
We almost always hold modern society to higher standards, but yet we never acknowledge that military personal is no different than civilians. A life lost is a life lost regardless of it being civilians or military personnel.... I would argue that if we stop them in th...
That is a good point. Often times the people that spend big money on the latest and greatest are also the same people utilizing a lot of the credit that was available out there.
That credit is now dried up.... Then again 3D TV are falling in prices faster than I could ever imagine it. The starting price of HDTV used to be $10-5k and has been around for almost 10-years on DLPs and such.
Now a days, 3D TV although been around for a long time, the market push co...
Really?
In what way is Sigma 2 better than the regular NG2? The new characters? The new game play mechanics?... or should I say what new game play mechanics? The reduced number of enemies?
The only thing better is the upgraded resolution on the game!
Of course this is my personal opinion, so you don't have to agree with it, but I enjoyed the 360 version more. It was more of a challenge!
shadowflare says:
"You would expect that paying $50 for your online gaming, you would get dedicated servers in every game. So i'll stick with the dedicated servers my free psn has"
No! That is your expectation, and not mine. I wish there was, but I agreed to whatever MS offered and I like it so I took the offer like millions of other gamers.
I hate it that people think their opinion applies to everyone else and if it doesn'...
That's like asking if a company is worried about the adoption rate of their next product? Shouldn't Sony be worried regardless of the market data?
Then again this article is twisting the word and misrepresenting what they is saying. He is really saying we are not worried, because we have a strategy in place. Amateur journalism!!!
@pirate
You are comparing the old 2D NG to the 3D NG and calling the old one better?
Seriously? NG 2D was good for it's time, but they are so different on both levels that I can't even imagine anyone say something so...
pirate says:
"Are you really telling me those Hack 'n' slash efforts are better than the NES games? Really? "
Are you really telling me that the old NES games aren't hack ...
@pachstation
We will see, but Hayashi hasn't proven himself. If anything, it seems he has proven himself on the contrary. As a huge NG fain, I hope I'm wrong!
What?
P2P definitely makes it cheaper to host and maintain online play, but it is at the cost of downgraded performance for everyone involved. There are advantages and disadvantages. For a huge game like Gears, the dedicated servers won't be shut down for a long long long time until atleast Gears 4 comes out....
Anyhow, what does this have to do with Gears 3 other than your little fanboy trolling!? Go play your PS3.
If you actually read the comment, the lie is in how the site interpreted the comment:
"But Peter being so close has actually been able to take many of the learnings that Lionhead has done and help other teams, and when you see the interaction between the girl and the animal on stage you can see similarities to stuff we were working on with Milo, so we start with experiments and they may turn into games themselves. We may not have had anything to announce today with Milo ...
