Kinect games priced at full probably because MS is still "tasting the market" to see what demand will be for the current prices they set and the fact that we are 4 months away from release.
PS Move needs to get their @ss in gear soon with advertisements though, since they got 2 months to release....
I actually caved in last night and upgraded my firmware from a pre 3.21 to 3.40.
Started playing Uncharted 1... have a huge backlog. Sad I missed "Other OS", but I don't blame this guy for it. Hackers will do what hackers will, but it is Sony with the power to remove it.
They must have some good relationship, MS and Kojima... keep hearing about them meeting up, but for what?
You mean like FF XIII? Didn't cause MS to beg for FF 14....
Because SE wants to make money too... I guess contrary to belief, it is SE that is now begging for FF on Xbox 360.
"People make so many different-looking games with out technology," Rein added. "You know, Borderlands was cel-shaded... it's just such a silly thing. If two games have the same look it's intentional, because two designers have the same feel for what they want their visuals to be like and Bulletstorm, it's just different."

"@ Idle: Microsoft changed their policy after XI, so you're wrong. "
What about Hulu Plus? Is that not an additional subscription on top of Xbox Live Gold?
I have not seen Xbox Live Policy, can you point me to it instead of just claiming I'm wrong? Policy or not, MS will bend it if they want it enough.
I personally disagree, especially with a comment like this:
"I am of course 8000 miles away from California and have never been anywhere near a room containing a Kinect, but my impressions from afar do not augur well."
hmmmm.... I tried it, perhaps I should write an article and post it on gamasutra.com and submit it here. At least I would have a little more credibility having tried it myself.
Oh, blogging ... what any moron can do....
MS doesn't allow two subscription fees like Hulu Plus? They allowed FF XI in the past as well so I don't see the issue there.
I suspect, SE is bargaining to hard and now using the public as their pawn to negotiate.
I'm sure he has seen the Wii:
Great interview!
It really touches on what I'm hoping Kinect will be and lines up with my expectations. Now I only need answer to that expectation in the next 2-3 years!
That is hilarious, stroking with strange gestures!
With that said, it is ironic that we can't see his work unless we use technology. You may have your wish, but then we wouldn't know who you are!
People love to use the argument that game software don't degrade like other items, but neither does music, movies, software or books (significantly). They aren't b!tchin and moaning about sales all the time, are they?
I hope they film it, so you can post it online. That would be hilarious!
It's kid of messed up, but it is hard to criticize a company when MJ's own dad is doing it.
With that said, for me it is enjoying MJ's work. I would probably have done it before and after his death!!!
I don't know, to me it is more about the opportunity to enjoy MJ work after his death. Then again, I was a fan before his death too.
Video games graphics are like a balanced resource. Sure I can give you a gazillion resolution, but the whole picture will consist of two colors. Will it still look good?
That is a gazillion 'p' for you tech nerds!
For us others, we enjoy the picture on the screen. That is why I thorough enjoy the graphics in Muramasa: Demon Sword on the Wii!!!

Well, direction, rotation and velocity all could be determined between (multiple) frames i.e. tracking an arm through it's motion. Of course, currently some of that is difficult to do due to processing power or fidelity from the camera, but it shouldn't be impossible.
I would argue that input from gestures doesn't mean harder, just different. Certain tasks, it excels at while others it is limited.
The only reason one think it is harder is that con...
I don't have the power to stop you (nor do I care enough), but blaming one guy for a company decision seems rather backwards. People do stupid stuff all the time, but you don't punish the majority...
I wonder if Sony would ban Blu-Ray if hackers found a way around that?
