I consider the MW2 edition, the only 360 so far to have adorned special artwork on it. Even the RE5 edition only sported a color change.
I'm keeping my MW2 console, but then again I love IW's CoD. Instead I might buy my 4th Xbox when the 360 S comes with special edition console with artwork. Maybe sell of my elite that isn't MW2....
fix it with a quick fix and sell it off to gamestop?
The only part of the slim that is an upgrade is really reduced power consumption due to the newer hardware, making the whole unit quieter.
Beyond that, the older phat (especially the 60GB) was i almost every way superior from craftsmanship to look. It looked more expensive, it felt more expensive, it had the nicer buttons (or lack thereof).... at one point it also had Other OS.
SO upgrading to a slim is like downgrading in my eyes, but hey you get the console...
Ignoring the hardcore? ... or catering to the people that are more likely to care? ... like the casuals.
I find it funny that hardcore gamers rebel against motion control, so the company redirect their technology towards consumers care, but they all of a sudden it is betrayal.
It's not like MS is ignoring the hardcore gamers. Aren't we getting great games coming into the fall and holiday? Why is it that a new accessory (or technology) that isn't a...
Nope, I have problems with them for two main reasons:
a) I already wear glasses, a second pair on top is not comfortable.
b) When I wear contact lenses, the 3D glasses don't come in enough different shapes and sizes to find one that is comfortable. With my Oakley sun glasses, there are at least a couple of dozen styles to select from. Some of them even are "asian fit" for us asians that don't have as a prominent nose bridge.
I find that I agree with most of the comments on the consumerist, why the heck would a consumer point out that the "opening points on the console is undamaged". The only way to know something like that is to check it himself prior to shipment for RMA.
I stand corrected, if the 16 year old kid can prove otherwise. The whole thing is suspicious. In fact, I know people that have gotten their 360 fixed out of warranty for a number of reasons including disc read error, m...
but they now where to look to open it and determine how to mod it!
LOL!
Yeah, it's not like Sony is trying to make money like MS!
yeah, I noticed that too. So what is the opposite then. Percent of who are colored?
Well there are good news for the Sony camp as well, but you were to busy bashing MS.
PS Move is gaining traction among hardcore gamers and their existing user base. Isn't that the good news Godmars should be focusing on instead of bashing MS?
... Not if you are a Sony cronie!!!
It is fine to push new technology and new technology is usually over the top expensive.
What I'm referring to is the fact that this technology whom is talked about so much will be used by a fraction of PS3 (or Xbox 360 in some cases) owning population.
You hit the nail on the head with "if my current TV either breaks in the next 3 years or not I will be looking very hard at both the 3d TV's". That is my point, nobody is rushing out to buy i...
Nope, it is the fundamental flaw that applies on technology suitable for something applying it to something else and then claiming it doesn't work.
It is also the fundamental flaw of not considering options and being pessimistic.
You want a team of developers to focus on creating great games not fighting technical problems. Clearly you are not a technical person, let alone a programmer.
Better tools has nothing to do with talent, but with bad tools talent can be hindered from their job!
That is why MS has the warranty? Isn't that attempting to correct the mistake, or would you like them to send you a new Xbox 360 delivered by your very own butler on a silver plate?
Funny, that is how I view people in general. Lacking in motivation in doing anything in life and waiting for a hand out called socialism. Thank you Obama!
On topic, yeah JRPGs seems to have taken a hit as a genre when it comes to innovation or should I more accurately say evolution. Oddly enough, most if not all of this game genre is developed in Japan.
What about this one?
"”But because Move is a completely new interface, that no one has experienced yet, it’s a great opportunity for developers to take advantage of this new capability.”"
A completely new interface? ... or a Wii rip off?
Granted it is supposedly more precise system than Wii Motion Plus, but still... completely new?
yep, and again I have to spend gazillion more money on a new TV and a pair of $200 or so glasses for each person. What is that like at least $2000?
I won't benefit from this in the next years, until perhaps the next console cycle. But it seems people just love to pay for "future" features they don't really need now or have the means to use.
That guy playing the game looked really excited and the guy next to him looked even more excited... NOT!
I love Time Crisis, but the previous game was really really bad! Not sure how this one will change?
To the vast majority of games, BR isn't a necessity for gaming instead it is a luxury.
I suspect that the most important thing to most gamers these days are online connectivity and connection to your friends. Whatever your friends are gaming on, is what you want to be on. Everything else is probably secondary....
When I bought my PS3, I didn't look at the BR features at all. Heck, I own 2 BR now. Both unopened, Enter the Dragon (Bruce Lee kick's ...
