That is pretty funny.

Only problem with gamefly is it takes almost a week to get a game to you. It's not exactly netflix in my experience.... sigh.

Pretty cool if it would, but it isn't clear to me if that is a 40GB or something else though. So far not confirmed, but this is the one feature I want on my PS3.

@Nathan Drake above:
I would gladly pay $20 for it.

lol... the guy accidentally left a picture of Windows Media player playing what appears to be a torrented movie. The comment on that page is hilarious.

I don't care that this game came out in June. This game (and GeoW2) is game of the year for me.

This game in my opinion us underrated. It does require a lot of patience though... not for the faint of heart.

I would buy a 360 just for NG2!!!

So far so good and I'm really hyped up about this game!!! A review from an independent site instead of official PS magazine that all agree would be best.

However, I want to judge this myself and want the demo now, not the day before the game is released before plunking down $60+.

Well the author makes a couple of good points here:

- PS3 is still not at a break even point
- Pricing pressure from competitors continually widening the gap
- Inability to lower price to keep up with competition due over-estimating your product demand
- Spouting 10-year plan, when there is really no significant difference between Xbox 360 and PS3. The PS2 still selling, isn't selling because it was the most powerful console of its time.

There is n...

I think people are missing the point on the article, it isn't about getting new features. He is talking about how POTENTIALLY frequent firmware updates increase instability that require additional firmware updates to fix.

Anytime you update your firmware, you risk the issue of bricking your console. Firmware updates should be rare and be tested well...

I don't mind new features, but I do mind the increased risk of bricking my console. On another note, in most cases ...

As a note, there is less than 5 million people in Norway. They also have a long history of viewing Sony electronic products as top of the line like Porsche or Mercedes is for cars. It is therefore no suprise that PS3 sell that well.

The Arcade SKU sells for about 40% cost of the PS3 there.

I'm actually suprised MS has 10% marketshare there. I thought it would be less. Nobody over there seem to care about the 360....

Aaron has a sound argument there and points to some facts instead of the castle in the sky like Sony.

Arrogance is Sony's biggest problem. If they would only take MS as a serious competitor from day 1, PS3 would do much better....

@soxfan2005
You got majority disagrees, but nobody has provided any counter proof. Instead clearly all the Sony fanboy comments here are getting the majority of agrees. The majority of the readers here got to be Sony Fanboys, tha...

Put it another way, Sony wants game studios to put money and resources into figuring out their black box console to slow down progress and reveal their technological might slowly....

I'm not sure if Kaz is an idiot or being arrogant, or perhaps just both.

Why would I (as a consumer) want a game studio fighting with Sony's architecture instead of spending time making a "GREAT" game? The answer is Sony wants to give PS3 owners the great experience they did wi...

The original Xbox was cut off sooner due to the impossible task of creating a profit for the company. PS1 and PS2 has created enormous profit for Sony and you bet they will continue to milk it as long as they can. That is just obvious if there is still demand why cut it.

If the 360 continues to be profitable it will stay on the market. The Xbox brand has never been in a better position now and is continuing strong despite naysayers.

If there is any question of longev...

The $30 Xbox Live Gold annual membership has been going on at numerous etailers numerous times at buy.com and walmart.com. I think this is an effort from MS to bolster their Gold subscription numbers. After all the investments into Live, the rest is pure profit with an extremely high profit margin.

You are right, MS is just nibbling at the little marketshare Sony has left after Nintendo dethroned Sony. So far Sony is the big looser this generation. Going from hero to zero...

Hopefully KZ2 will mark the turning point.

This is exactly why I think Sony is third. Instead of adding features to exceed Xbox Live (cross game voice chat, party system & etc), they are adding this photo feature. It is nice, but why divert resources to this. Do most gamers sort their pictures or play games? If they want this sort of application, focus your resources on creating a SDK for the public to use alas XNA, but less specialized such as the iPhone SDK. Although I'm impressed with the photo feature and my girlfriend would l...

Doesn't that suspiciously look identical to the gunmetal grey MGS4 Limited Edition PS3?

I paid a gazillion for it, $600+, at the time. Feeling ripped off even more now if they are making one identical to it with a cooler artwork on it....

That site looks like an anti MS crusade. It should be really called boycottMSNovell.com

@superaktieboy:
Your comment is backwards. If you built an OS with something in mind, obviously the OS is considerably likely to better at that something than an OS that didn't have that in mind from the beginning. With that said, MS had the foresight to put IE in the OS early on Windows 95. If anything, Linux similar to Unix was designed as a multi user system while Windows focused o...
