Hell yeah, I would buy this game. Every SF version betwee SF1 and SFIII. Capcom vs. Tatsunoko was great!!!
Control scheme was wierd and I coulnd't figure out the japanese....
$20 million per episode is quite a bit of money, but as the article pointed out they need to sell 1.25 million copies or so to break even. The added benefit is greater exposure in marketing and those who own both PS3 and 360 probably chose the 360 version due to the possibility of DLC. So some of those sales that otherwise might have been lost was paid for this DLC.
Another thing is that MS paid for was the guaranteed sales from the GTA IP which was huge on the PS2.
...
Actually, I didn't know about this. I'm not using a MS email alas live.com or hotmail.com though.
Can't you just change the email address associated with the account? Wouldn't this resolve the issue? If so, you bet MS will get their ass on fixing this before there is mass exodus of customers from their email service.
maybe only the platinum version will get trophies. that way all current owners of MGS4 have a reason to buy the platinum version?
i didn't know konami said they would include trophies for mgs4. can anyone point me to the source?
awesome if they did though....
With the superiority of PS3 "power", how come we still after 2 years see multiplatform games either equal or better on the 360?
One can argue, that Sf4 isn't the most technical demanding game then one should also ask themselves if it isn't demanding why does it still look better on the 360?
I'm no fanboy and pre-ordered on PS3 (which is now on backorder), but like to say it as it is. Yet again we get another game that is better on the 360, granted this is ...
That is a complete waste of time. I wish there was a feature on this site similar to how you can ignore users, you can ignore clicks on links to other site like this one.
Complete waste of time....
actually, it looks like hiphopgamer approved this article... lol
Yeah, it must be MS paying to have CoD 4 special on the same weekend as KZ2 on BOTH PS3 and Xbox 360! /sarcasm
Man people come up with the stupidest sh!t.
Against my better judgment, I decided to click on this article only to find it contain flame bait and no real sources unless you count Wikipedia as one.
To further the issue, I don't think the writer actually understands the complexity of technology (or technology for that matter). I'm frankly surprised at how many technological stuff works considering the level of complexity and the level of stupidity of humans!
Can you even imagine the amount of work going into eve...
KingMe is absolutely correct there. A sale is a sale, who cares what the reason is if is a trend and sustainable.
Just as much as the PS3 is selling well because of it's technology and the loyalty of Japanese consumers.
The Xbox 360 doing poorly in Japan is no suprise, but the biggest suprise is PS3 selling a whole 20% less consoles in Japan yoy while MS increased it by 20%. Granted that is just 60k consoles, it is still an increase and they are still doing miles better than the original Xbox.
The remaining missing marketshare swallowed by the evil Wii. I wonder what will happen the next generation.... We will probably all get motion sensing controls with gimmicky gameplay at 1080p.
This is probably one of the biggest game this year and one of the most anticipated title in PS3's life (sans MGS4) and Home is not supported?
If that is the case, then Home is probably doomed. I would be extremely surprised and disappointed at Sony if that was the case. However, amazon.com offered costume codes for Home with KZ2 outfits.... isn't that a sign that Sony will support it?
Fair enough, but still I'm not so sure I want to see more MALE nudity or etc... it's like that GTA IV DLC with the d!ck shot. I ain't paying for that!!!
This must be one of them MS biased reviews we keep hearing about from Edge. /sarcasm
On another note, I personally like the school grading system, A, B C and so on.... This kind of sucks though for non-US readers though as they might not be as familiar with it.
I don't know why people complain about journalism and etc... this is obviously a blog. Any idiot can have a blog and any idiot can (emphasis on can) have an opinion.
Bottom line is, MS won a lot this generation with brand name recognition disassociated from a somewhat failed Xbox (the first and original ugly ass black box). Sony has certainly lost it's first place and even if it came in second is a far cry from Playstation 1 or 2's dominance. It doesn't need saving, since it has ...
yeah, those Brits love soccer or should I say football! They are like Raider fans at a soccer game.
Well, if they were MS fanboys it would completely explain the Mass Effect review of 7/10 and Halo Wars at 7/10 as well. /sarcams
People really want to attribute any negativity towards their beloved godly game as fanboys... it is sad really and give it up, cause nobody but fanboys care.
My guess is the majority of people on multiple 360's on repair were the early models. I for one have two Falcons. One op whom have lasted more than 1.5 years of extremely heavy use with no problems what so ever.
In fact I had less problems with it then my PS3 that has crashed on me numerous times. However, both my 360's are freaken loud as hell. Why can't MS put in quality silent fans....
ohhh, I was so anticipating this game when it was scheduled for release on consoles. Then it got delayed and finally canned to my dismay. Is it coming back?
I'm confused, why talk about ports? Isn't the article talking about MGS4 for the PS3?
Anyhow, I'm suprised this title went budget so soon. This was and probably still is the PS3's best title. Is it not selling well? I mean, if it sold 4-5 million to date, why make it budget?
I guess I shouldn't question a good thing....
Thanks for the PM.
I agree with you that it might be developer laziness to some degree, but you also have to ask Sony why they made this decision to design a console with so much theoretical power at the cost of developers time. As a programmer myself, I can appreciate a design that allows me to be more efficient instead of re-educating myself on a new and arguably untested architecture.
Lazy or not, resources are limited and budgeted. They either put it into making ...
