We will have to see how good NG2S is going to be. NGS wasn't as good as the original Black and now they plan to remove blood from the NG2S. This seems counter to what they have already done and how it affects the vision of the game. I bet they bowed to the publisher and making a lower rated game.

This is a classic case of not enough competition. All over Europe cell phone service is incredibly cheap and note (as far as I know) both parties (the caller and the reciever) do NOT both pay for the minutes in use. The receiver's call is free and yet it is cheaper.
Why is it then that cell phone service prices hasn't gone down all these years. Now phone companies want to raise prices or cap unlimited data plans. This is ridiculous and we need more competition!

The idea that Sony just needs to drop the price they will win is flawed. What prevents MS from following suit? Sony drops $100, MS just drops $50. Xbox 360 still half the cost of PS3 and who is hurting more?
This is not to mention suddenly the Xbox 360 is even closer to the price point of PS2. Notice how PS2 is priced at half the Xbox 360 Arcade. Furthermore, it would take PS3 years to catch up to the Xbox 360 lead even if they sold 150-200k more consoles a month worldwide.

LP1 sold pretty damn good and even made it to the PS3 for a "cra@ppy" game.
Reality is, it is a great game that I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm looking forward to LP2.
These are great and make a huge improvement on the crappy shape of the triggers on the DS3. My fingers keep slipping off and accidentally trigger the trigger. These RealTriggers are a godsend even though they slow your reaction time slightly.
Only complaint is price, although fairly low priced relative to a game, but expensive for a piece of plastic. I heard of people having these pop off, but I haven't experienced that myself.

I remember hearing about the BB gun shootings and the robbings at the PS3 launch in the US. The PS3 then went on to sell ridiculous amounts on ebay for about a month.
Well, from what I can tell the blood will be toned down, adjusted difficulty level, only two difficulty levels and additional characters (sounds great, but remember Rachel in Sigma? Not Fun!). Furthermore, it is directed by Hayashi.... I hope this will be the definite version as I love the game and will give Tecmo my money, but it sounds more like the dishonorable version so far.
Everything that made the game garner it's fans: difficulty and over the top violence is being changed...
The game still commands a $40 price tag, still sells well and it is probably the largest community of gamers on one console. I say there is nothing overrated about the game with so many gamers playing this game and continuing to buy it.
It is not the end all be all game, but it certainly was a great game in a balanced and complete package.
