Agreed! It's a stupid game, let people have it. You know what does more harm than crap like this, crossing the street, second hand smoking or reckless driving. How about focusing on things that matter.
Well I want my games now, not in the future if you catch my drift.
In all seriousness, do people think there aren't enough games on the 360? I mean I'm busy with so many games and there are so many more games released that there isn't enough time to play them all let alone the money to buy them.
So why this talk about no games? In fact, I think the only real way to enjoy gaming is to buy all three consoles. Best of all worlds except for your wallet and you know socia...
The difference is that this is a service that evolved that early adopters didn't pay for up front. It is an additional service. On the other hand, one of the main reasons for PS3 $600 price tag was the Blu-Ray drive built-in. Sony's lack of game at the time didn't help either and worse the focus of PS3 was some kind of supercomputer.
Basically everything, but a video game console.
Yeah, last time I tried Hulu on the PS3 (a good while ago)_the darn thing crashed on first try. I tried it again a few more times and it crashed again....
One thing to keep in mind is risk to reward ratio. There are certainly many games that make huge profits, but there are far more games that fail, even great games. If the risk to reward ration is too high, you might find fewer large investment into games.
@zinc
You got some good points, but I would also like to add that a used games was initially a new game sold at a profit to the publisher/developer. Devs at least at some point got their cut. There are also ways to combat ...
I don't frequent that forum, but it is just a quote right? It didn't seem official.
I will take quantity over percentage any day.
My point being two-fold:
a) If the quantity exceeds another platform, I will ignore the percentage. Do you want 100% with only 1 game or 10% with a 1000 games? Yes, that was exaggerated.
b) It is reasonable to expect that as a system get's more popular it is reasonable to believe that the quality goes down i.e more crapware for a fast back. Just look at the Wii and the DS.
Numbers can be made to...
The only thing about Sony's lineup is that there is no freakin date. Delays are bound to happen and I get sick of hearing of them without the ability to try.
We already know Quantum Theory is delayed now, what is next?
In many ways, I prefer to hear about a game closer to release date. Like NG2 Sigma already announced coming this fall.
If you consider that Japan is only second to US in console sales worldwide then suddenly it is important to get that market. If not for the sales, the strategic reason to be there is of utmost importance. Would Japanese developers create games for a system that isn't present in its own country?
It is an investment into the future....
It is probably a select few going around disagreeing in anything MS positive or Sony positive news/comments. See this countless times and it is the same thing over and over.
It depends on if your neighbors fire is bigger or not!
It depends on how confident you are in your showing. Basically going later means that the competition can unveil something that completely kills any PR for you afterwards since that is what everyone will be talking about. On the other and, if the competition fails, then you automatically get the upper hand since you not only can counter their showing, but also reap the benefit of being on the news longer as nothing else is co...
I have been rather impressed with Sony lately and heard a lot pre-E3. Can't say the same for MS, that is completely silent. Eerily silent....
next? Another record year of sales maybe?
I'm excited about the improved AI. When this comes out I will have to run out and buy a new graphics card.
Yeah, but you failed to forget that the price point of the original Xbox was considerably lower out of the gate and continued so throughout the history.

I kind of agree with sack boi, you have to give MS credit for where they are now. They were up against Sony whom dominated the gaming market over a decade (just as they went up against Nintendo before that) with 140+ million consoles sold and countless fans. Sony probably has more fans than the number of consoles sold by MS.
There is no bigger giant bigger than Sony prior! In fact Sony sold more than twice as many consoles (PS2) as any other console prior to it. That is a feat th...
Also a console doesn't require expensive upgrades every year or so. Besides to me gaming on the console is more relaxing. It is something about sitting upright in front of a monitor....
I will take a remake of MGS 1 & 2. Especially since I own the first three, but no PS2 to play it the two later ones on. I would hate to invest a $150 to buy a PS2 and required accessories to play two games....
Functionality aside, MS products tend to look ugly. Sony tends to look amazing, but this is a nice surprise. Very sexy indeed, if it has the right features, specs and price I will buy it. If it is overpriced like Apple products, forget it!
