I don't know, the game play doesn't look very good or very deep. Am I missing something? It might just be the players though....
Well this doesn't even need to apply to the PS3, could be to Sony TV or other electronics.... This doesn't mean anything.
From what I can tell, Kotaku reports both positive and negative news about both consoles. I see no bias, except for the same fanboys crying over and over.
Do you cry bias when PS3 gets good news from Kotaku?
I agree. This site tends to blindly bash sites they don't like. Perhaps this site's users are biased against Kotaku due to the Sony/Kotaku fiasco....
edit: Just for reference, Nintendo got a C rating while both Sony and MS got a B, but NO that means Kotaku is biased against Sony!
Why do we still get articles like these? Maybe I should just make an article for each game that has DLC such as Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, KillZone 2, Halo 3, and the list goes on....
If you don't like it don't buy it! If you believe developers/publishers are with holding content from the game just to make some extra bucks do NOT buy it! Otherwise just STFU and play the games!!!
It amazes me that people don't understand the concept of a business. A business ...
Looks good, how much is it going to cost? How much of that footage will be part of the game?
Can't they just plug the console into another 'FREE' jack?
A slim 360 would mean MS reduced the size of the components that can trap heat. For instance, they could do away with that bulky DVD-ROM drive intended for PC's. Perhaps something with more open design that doesn't trap heat.
Usually these types of things have a tendency to leak out early though and the only one that seemed to have leak anything is the PS3. Besides Sony might not be the master of software design (user interface and service integration) they are the master of har...

nuff said!
I'm astonished that Halo 3 continues to be played so much.
Well said! Who is the idiot dumb enough to disagree with such a logical statement?
This just proves how much demand there really is for a BC PS3. I'm one of those that are kind of bitter it was removed since I bought the 40GB MGS4 Limited Edition of the PS3. No BC there....
If anything this will cost Sony some bucks, but the license is already given.
My point was that devices are no longer made for one thing, so the notion that I will use 'it' for what 'it' was intended for doesn't really apply anymore.
Personally, I would prefer smaller and lighter cell phones rather than including a camera. I guess these days they have gotten pretty good and doesn't take up as much space anymore.
I don't know why everyone complains about small data size of the DLC. It is NOT as if the larger size means the developer put more effort into it.
Anyone with a little programming skills know that 1-2 MB of data is a lot of code if you are re-using assets. If people keep complaining about this, perhaps the developer should just pad the size with a bunch of zeros i.e. unused code just to make the size larger and satisfy the consumer or how about just unused assets?

There is no doubt you can push graphical limits with the PS3. The problem isn't the possibility, it is the amount of work required to push it.
When you have maybe a dozen developers coming out and saying they are struggling with the PS3 I don't think you can call them lazy. They might not have the resources and the luxury of 3-4 years to develop a game.
People that can't recognize this are just the fanbois. It is usually the same people posting the biased comments......
lol... That didn't even occur to me. Where do we find numbers for Halo 3 sales in April?
To add to his correct assessment, there is also cost for:
- transportation/shipping
- packaging
- promotions i.e. your pre-order freebies
- printing of the disc, manual, and production of case
- retailer profit (if amazon.com can sell the game for $50-52 pre-release, that means amazon buys the game for no more than $50)
The list goes on....
The flip side, Sony owns GG so there is no licensing fee and the infrastructure is built f...
Problem is, it is no longer made for one thing....
Ten years ago when the PS2 (or even when the Dreamcast) was released nobody could see the need for 50GB storage on an optical disc. What do we have now?
Point being, if the space is available it will be used as long as the processing power and the resolution of the TV can keep up!
