From what I hear, some save games can't be backed up. It is tied to the system, so it won't work with the new system you get replaced with.
Most of you will have switched operating system before Vista is 'End of Life' from MS i.e. no longer supports updates to Vista.
Windows 2k is still under extended support until July 13, 2010. Nearly 10 years after it's release. How many of you are planning to use Vista 8-10 years from now? Third party driver support will kill Vista way before that....
How is Vista useless crap now? Is it no longer functional? Does it not do what it advertise?
Because something new come out doesn't mean the old doesn't work or isn't supported. New and improved is nothing new in the technology world. Get used to it or get disappointed frequently!!!
Getting a new gamertag means all current progress is lost. For those playing online, it requires an extra gold subscription. In a rare instance, having to pay for Live is useful....

It is too late for a price cut that matters for Sony. Of course it matters to consumers, but for Sony it is just another loss. Last reported, Sony is still only within 10% of breaking even on each console sold.
I have said it in the past, a price cut will mean another profit loss for negligible market share gain. Probably not something worthwhile pursuing for Sony.
It's funny some complain about the fact that some game isn't exclusive and therefore the platform of their choice isn't being pushed to the limit. Others just want the content....
I don't care, I just want a good game with excellent gameplay mechanics.
We will just have to wait for the 3rd to judge him or at least NGS2. He did direct NGDS and frankly it was a mediocre game with some interresting elements of game play. However, I don't think I would enjoy it as much unless it was NG game.
Did anyone notice that the response sounded more like the VP was responding about a possibility of retail version of MvC2 as opposed to it coming to the Wii?
Looks like a price cut will be next to impossible in the near future. Even the possibility of a Christmas price cut is diminishing rapidly. Sony is still not amazingly breaking even on the console yet. I thought at a minimum they should break even with almost a year and a half with no price cuts.
We now see how much (and potentially how desperate) Sony was when they dropped the price on the PS3 last. They must a lost outragous amount of money on each console sold. Good for game...
