Movie games always suck now a days. I know they are kinda dorky, but do you remember Alladin and the Lion King for Genesis and SNES. Those games rocked. Plus, I may be the only person I know, but I loved Jaws for the NES. But movie games now are completely terrible. I always find it funny when I go to a Gamestop and see like 30 used copies of spiderman 3 for 360 and ps3, who the heck was dumb enough to buy these games new anyways?
This could be useful if there was some kind of wireless psp controller that came with it that would allow you to play games and had component cables that hooked the cradle and psp up to a tv. Thus allowing the user to play psp games on their tv without being restricted by the length of the cable connecting the psp to the tv. But the cradle as it is, not so great IMO.
Battletoads is easily harder than most (if not all) of the games on the list. If you don't know what I'm talkin about, go play it on an NES or an emulator or go onto youtube and search battletoads bike level. This level was so difficult it ruined what was an extremely awesome game. You need to play through the level like 50 times so that you can memorize everything to beat it. Arrrrgghhhhh, just thinkin about the friggen speeder bikes is frustrating me.
But I am really excited for this game. I never get tired of zombie games and this new and different spin on on the classic linear style zombie games. It also satifies that urge that I've always had since playing the first resident evil...if I were stuck in some town or city that was overcome by zombies, how would I go about getting out using whatever weapons I can. Just a cool concept.
I think its just as he said, there is a more teen-young adult population for the PSP. The DS may have more units out on the market by a vast majority, but units sold doesn't automatically guaruntee that a certain game to that large population, you have to look at demographics of owners; espeically when a large number of people with DS are younger kids and older adults (not saying that there isn't a decent amount of teen to young adult demographic on the ds). Plus, as you pointed out FFVII w...
So when I saw this article and read it and thought about how awesome Sonic was and how sweet it would be in HD and what not, it got me to thinking. Whatever happened to awesome side scrolling 2D games? Some of the best games ever made were 2D side scrollers and I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy a well done 2D side scroller instead of another recycled 3D platformers or FPS. I mean seriously...give me some games like Symphony of the Night, the Sonics, and Super Metroid on a next gen platfo...
i'm just saying...if you want to have a decent k/d ratio you have to have skill to play. I don't know about you but I find it true that when you play a match of cod4 the person with the most skill comes out on top similar to almost online mp fps.
Your comment makes it seem like you could play cod4 for the first time and come out on top cuz your lucky, which just isn't true.
I also think a lot of it comes down to personal preference. I myself would rather play a ga...
bubbles for dropping the "that's what she said!"
HAHA
I love the chainsaw...but you know what, if they're gonna make the chainsaw as cheap as it is add in some other inventive melee attached like jackhammer type weapon attached to a gun or a bayonet used to gut some punk locust. Of course this is just my opinion.
Also I agree with the bigger multi player and a longer campaign mode plus maybe a little more story incorporated into the game so I know how the GOW universe got the way it is rather than reading about it out the instructi...
I don't know the specifics on this exact case, but if the patent is really "like swiss cheese" as you say it is, then Microsoft should be fine. There is a lot of patent case law that shows that early basic technology that starts it's own technological field doesn't hold up well whenever it turns out 10 years down the road that the technilogical field the basic patent started is actually a very deep and complex (if you want to learn more what I'm referring to you can check out the p...
This isn't somebody coughing on someone and then suing them. The process to get a patent is a long and expensive process. If big companies are gonna be allowed to just take stuff that someone has patented without paying for it we might as well just get rid of the patent system in general and completely destroy independant inventors who don't work for big companies. I don't know the specifics of this case, but if microsoft is using stuff from their patent, I'm pretty sure they deserve a pie...
You beat me to it. I saw the headline and thought...hmmm I got mine and it has been sitting collecting dust on my shelf for 10 months. Although it did get dusted off momentarily for SSBB.
I like Vista and like the way it works. However, seriously, I think explorer (not internet explorer, but windows explorer the thing that navigates your computer) crashes at least once a day and I will have to either restart my computer or go in through task manager and close explorer and reopen it. I just don't think that is something that I should have to do on a new computer and new operating system.
Now I remember this game being as fun and exciting for about 2 levels. But seriously, I don't even know anyone that got past the first hover bike level (middle to end of 3rd level). It was ridiuculous hard/unbeatable (especially when you were 8-10) and not one of the 100 best games ever.
Funniest part of the article:
"To the uninitiated, Metroid is one of Nintendo's few series for gamers with sack. It rejects the usual Nintendo-brand electric rodents and Italian man-children in favor of a hot blonde chick named Samus who wears a super-powered robotic suit of armor that she uses to battle evil space dragons. If you find any part of that character description less than awesome get yourself to a doctor immediately because there's something wrong with you."

I would love to see a Skies of Arcadia DC port of XBL or PSN. I've heard and read from so many people that the DreamCast version of the game was incredible and its an RPG that I would like to play. I never got the GC version and I heard it had some problems anyways.
Split screen isn't really that old school. You have to remember a lot of people that have gaming consoles are families with more than 1 kid. I don't know about you, but back when I lived with my parents I had 1 console for me and my brothers to all play on; not everyone has money to go buy 2 consoles, 2 versions of the game, and 2 televisions to play the game on. Plus there is a certain comraderie (sp?) that comes with playing a game splitscreen. I personally loved play Gears of War split...
When is RE5 generally supposed to be released? In the article they said next year's blockbuster, I was under the impression it was this year. I really don't want to have to wait another year for RE5...boo.
It's not because it's Islam, its because it's a ridiculous double standard. According to the article they ban it because of "killing gods is against their beliefs" or something along those lines. Well guess what, I'm pretty sure murdering people is against their beliefs too, but I guaruntee they don't ban every game where you kill people. If you're gonna ban something because its against your beliefs, ban everything thats against your beliefs, not just a game where "gods&quo...
First off, let it be known that I am one of the few people that actually doesn't care for the GTA games, they just aren't fun for me. But I just wanted to say, MADD should take a number. I mean are we going to post a story for every group that is protesting GTA IV? I think MADD is somewhere in line behind Thompson, some governments, some police forces, and probably Rev. Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson (I'm sure the game is racist in some way).
