I tried to play last night and wasn't having very many problems with the game. However I was having a heck of a time trying to find a match b/c apparently half the people playing/trying to join games don't know how to 'green up' by hitting the start button. I seriously sat in one game lobby for 15 minutes waiting for a 32 man game before I just left b/c people wouldn't green up. Talk about annoying.
The game itself though, I had a blast.
Comcast is trying to institute a download limit. Why would you cheer for them?
What a lie...it looks more like a Poke ball!
I feel like I won the lottery. I won a launch xbox360 arcade at an eating contest like a month after it came out. It's still good. I gave it to my brother for his birthday after I got a new job b/c I wanted a 360 with hdmi ports which I bought, that one still works. My youngest brother then bought a 360 when he went to college, and that one still works. So in all, my family has been lucky enough to have 3 360's that work without RROD'in, 1 being a launch version, and the other 2 being th...
-Didn't like the bookmark system
-Don't like how it didn't have a toolbar
-My the browser wouldn't respond to rolling up on my mouse wheel for some reason
It wasn't bad, it's just I saw no definitive advantage over Firefox. My favorite thing about it was the ability to move the tabs around.
Is like fishing with dynamite.
I stopped using Chrome when for some reason it wouldn't let me use my mouse wheel to go up on the brower...I mean, wtf.
Also I'm not a big fan of no toolbar across the top.
But the ability to move the tabs was sweet.
But I may make an exception for this. That action figure looks pretty sick and it would look good next to some of my other "collectible action figurines."
Ever since I got FFT: war of the lions. I wanted to play it on my tv, but in order to do so you have to sit close b/c of the length of the tv connection. I thought it would be a good idea to have it so that you could play your psp on the tv from a distance by using a psp controller or something like that. So the ability to sit my psp by the tv while i sit on my couch and play FFT with a ps3 controller on a big screen solves my problem.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna trade in my silver psp and upgrade to the black one with the 4 gig stick.
Sure, you have you're cable modem near your cable TV so you can wire your 360 to the internet. But there are many many people that have their cable modem at their main computer which is in a computer room or away from their gaming console.
I know when I lived with my parents that's how it was, and I only had wireless internet in my room, which is where my ps3 and 360 where. So yeah, it doesn't matter for you, but I bet there are a bunch of people who wish their 360 had wirele...
That quote from the article hit the nail on the head.
I've never heard of people talking about blu-ray improving the game by anything other than allowing the developer to include more data on a disc and thus make the game bigger, more detailed, etc...
So logically, if the game already fit onto a smaller disc, what benefit would the blu-ray provide? Unless the developer wants to go into the original game and add in more gameplay or detail than the orignal game, t...
So...the majority of the people buying our console right now haven't the slightest clue what E3 is, so we just went ahead and cut the costs of our presentation, you know save a little money. It doesn't matter, we're still gonna outsell the competition like 2:1. Konnichiwa bit**es!
Note: I'm gonna preemptively let everyone know I'm joking, please no need to take my comment seriously.
50 inch Panasonic Viera 1080p Plasma
Kinda strange. When I did my research (about a year ago) the Panasonic brand was highly recommended for plasma screens for great quality at a great price and I think it's still highly recommended by Consumer Reports. Oh well, I still love it.
I know what you mean. I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and my university (and most ABET accredited engineering programs) require that a student take computer programming classes so they can understand and use a variety of computer programs used in engineering (C++, Visual Basic, Mathematica, MatLab, etc...). I knew a lot of computer engineering majors (as my specialty overlapped with a lot of EE classes) that only had the same as or one more class than me in computer prog...
Computer Engineers actually focus more on hardware that go into computers, consoles, microchips etc. They do some programming and software structure, but as the name entails focus more on the engineering aspect.
Computer Science is the major that focuses on software/programming and is what a company would prefer for game design.
And from experience, most of the time it is better to be a specialist in a field than a jack of all trades in the general area of the fie...
I have no problem with opinions on games and hardware and rumors and stuff. But I don't agree with articles that are opinion pieces on another person's opinion, that's a major contributor to flame wars. That's what I think at least.
From another person who likes the game that disagrees with another person's review.
Here's a novel concept, you can have your opinion like the article writer obviously does; which means you can let someone else have their own opinion like the reviewers obviously do.
Why you ask, because an opinion is that by nature, someone's own personal thoughts/feelings about something.
Please can we stop approving articles neigh saying or reinforcing someone else's...
It will be annoying, but not nearly as annoying as Monkey. Seriously, people hiding in trees everywhere and only way to see them is to scan tree lines all the time. It will suck especially if there are forest/jungle-like levels.
Although I agree that playing dead will suck, but I'm used to last stand anyways so I shoot bodies after I shoot them originally anyways.
The inordinate amount of idiots trying to play the game.
I tried to play last night and wasn't having very many problems with the game.
