nah, comparing commercial companies is good, it increases competition. If we never compared things, Madden 2020 would be running at 30 fps on the PS5 while Xbox1080's would run at 200 fps (yeah by 2020 we would have adapted to notice the difference between 60 fps and 200 fps)
so glad for the new generation of systems and demos. If it wasn't for the demos I might miss out on 90% of the PS3 games since reviewers are so negative to it.

always usually don't really fit next to each other :P PES/W11 is the best soccer game since its PS1 days. It also helps that since most football fans agree this is the best, it has the most user support. Anytime a team is not licensed, a league, stadium, balls, players, someone will have a patch online... and now with the next gen systems its even easier (they have La Liga licensed but not the Premiereship!! I hope some hardcore fan will help us out when this game comes out).

this is actually better than all the other generic puzzlers out on the PSN and Marketplace. What I'm really waiting for is the HD update to SF2!

can you imagine if Calling All Cars had no single player? Some nights when there's only 5 multi-player servers and all filled up, you would be out of luck. I guess this is the most reasonable explanation for the score.

hey, I'm looking forward to this game as much as the rest of you all, but what is up with the 10/10, 100s/100s? Isn't perfection an unattainable standard that we set to measure the flaws of every single game? I'm sure the other 10/10 game for the other systems is great fun, but once again, I doubt this or any other game really deserves a perfect score.

bad design decision on Sony's part. Look at EA'S NBA Live 08, lighting used to hide the crowd, but all those polygons ended up on the players instead, making them look a generation better than NBA 08 with more detailed muscles, sweat, and clothing. Who needs to see the crowd? I think EA's approach to the player models are much better. Just take a look at the video below compared to this posts.

the main contention all the PS3 owners seem to have is not with what people say. People say great things about Lair!! (I know some will disagree with this, but every review has said some good things about this game)... Its with the scores. A lot of people just feel the scores aren't reflective of whats being said, or that any little negative thing about Lair will be emphasized too much and bring a score lower.
Edge has great writing and design, go read it at your nearest Borders (they sell them in America too). I want to know what the reviewers say. A lot of times they say things that you wouldn't pick up on just by looking at numbers alone. But I do agree with their Warhawk score, it is the best multiplayer game I've played on the PS3... or any console for that matter (PC fps's trump it, although 4 player split screen online with friends in Warhawk keeps it up there).
