amazon has a end of march ship date :(
4 player offline or online, control of each individual limb, and tons of obstacles/vehicles made by the developers and more in the future made by players. Also the avatar customization seems to be second to none (which is very important for mainstream gamers)
go figure they wouldn't give Guitar Hero 3 any more DLC, this is why Rock Band is so much better
do people even check articles anymore or can anything be posted? In the comments section of the guy who posted this video:

i find it amusing that an article like this but with males would probably never even be considered
@1.6 there are ways to patch, just think of it like a modified autoexec.cfg for any of Valve's PC games. You just need to tell the game to be more optimized for your type of system, and possibly increase the multi-core usage or the hard drive usage.
not only that, its less than a gig! Mainly it seems they have some great compression going on as well as letting the PS3's processors do all the sky and environment effects. I wish more developers would follow this and uncharted's paths of letting cell processors do stuff so the loading time is short/non existent.
Its kind of sad to see such bias versus PS3, but then again I think they are all just jaded that it didn't live up to pre-launch expectations. Its not really Microsoft's fault, its just that Sony backed themselves into a corner in the beginning. If the expectations weren't there, I'm sure every reviewer would have given this game 9.5s+. But hey, those of us who owns a ps3 are used to getting a handicap, since it just means later on when we finally get recognition for good games, it will me...
from that first quote about the unlockables, it almost sounds like he's joking, because he just stated a ton of reasons to play it again! Oh well, guess online mode is thought of as a necessity these days and will add +1.0 to any game.
contrast, brightness and sharpness settings make a huuuuuuuge difference! Just try turning all the sliders to wonky settings in any PS3's uncharted demo and you'll have washed out stuff that doesn't look like screenshots at all. I expected Ubisoft to favor developing on the xbox platform but there is clearly some TV calibration issues at work in this comparison video.
hmm, "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is the most fun I've had in a videogame this year." Now didn't IGN already establish that perfect scores do not mean perfect games? If this reviewer had more fun in this videogame than ANY other game (i'm looking at all the > 9.1 games), how does a mere 9.1 make sense? :P
this episode made my gf want to buy GH3 and play it with me, thank you South Park :)
its true, out of all the multiplayer games i've played, only Tribes 2 gave me a similar feeling, but it was nowhere near as addictive and gorgeous as Warhawk is. It might not fit everyone's taste, especially those of the non-vehicle realistic FPS focused games, but you can't deny it isn't loads of fun for most of the people who have tried it.
yeah, the war will really start when all tv channels go digital in 2009, until then its just flames between early adopters and us sony gamers
No need for so much hate on Gamespot. Its one guys opinion, doesn't mean it will be yours or the majority of people who play it. Granted I never read their reviews (b/c I think they're crap) but no need for the super flaming hate above, c'mon just look at movie reviews, sometimes they're all over the place, sometimes they all agree, and sometimes, everyone agrees except for one cynical bastard, but no one blames him because he's a critic.
whatever happened to the days when all the reviews seemed like the score that a mainstream gamer would agree with? Back in PS2, PS1, SNES days, all the scores seemed in line with general concensus, but now its just all over the place.
can't wait for RUMBLE SUPPORT... especially with people here talking about the great controls and lurching with the car! oof
I wish they would stop bringing out more and more PS2 Singstar versions and bring out the PS3 with DLC already!! Too bad Sony's priority is where the money is (100 million+ PS2 users vs the 6 mil PS3, hey, us 6 mil need some love too!)
I love my ps3 but you do know EA is handling the port from PC to PS3 right? :P
how is the #1 selling series in Europe a sleeper hit? :P
