Price drop on both 3DS XL & Wii U:
I still don't think that the Wii-U price is the problem. If they bring the games I won't hesitate to drop $300 on a nice bundle.
Better online network:
Not sure about the online network cause I don't own one but for me that's not very important for a Nintendo console personally.
Achievement system:
An achievement system would be nice but wouldn't exactly "wow" me. <...
Good thing we can have both.
@Dynasty2021: No there aren't. Look at Crysis 3 benchmarks at 4k. 8k is 4 times 4k. Just the amount of RAM and VRAM you'd need would get you in trouble. Not to mention the rest of the hardware. And last but not least the monitor. There are barely any 8k monitors available and the'll probably cost you as much as a new car.
And what for? To be able to play a couple of games (pretty sure most games won't support 8k for a while) at unplayable framerates? No tha...
Definately looking foreward to some of these. Especially Outlast: WB, The Evil Within and Dying Light.
There is no way for you to know if TF as a franchise can become as successful as CoD. Nobody thought that CoD would become as successful as it is right now.
@DrJones: Just because there was no internet back then. Also gaming have become much more mainstream nowadays. As long as I'm getting great games I don't mind some friendly arguing about the tech.
When was that? I've been gaming for 20 years and whenever a new game came out the first general reaction was: "look at those graphics".
When arguing with friends wether the Mega Drive/Genesis or the SNES was the better console graphics was always a big factor. I'm not saying gameplay wasn't important but I think it's still important as well.
It's the current standard. Most studies estimate about 75-80% of people have HDTVs (in US and EU). The rest percentage is mostly still on SDTVs.
Clearly computer graphics. No doubt about that. Not sure if doctored or not but those aren't real for sure.
Can someone post a link to a video where the game works normal with ICE enhancer and looks as great as on screenshots? The videos I saw where mostly underwhelming cause it's always someone driving a car in empty streets.
I'm a little sceptical about it being a russian developer. I've seen a couple of good russian games but most of them are mediocre imo. I'll keep an eye on it anyway. Maybe this will turn out to be a great game. You never know.
The project sounds ambitious that's for sure.
There is literally no way you can double the framerate with a patch on the same hardware.
Developed and published by Red Barrels. So yeah it is indie and a great example at how good indie games can be.
A lot of people don't realise how talented some of those indies are. A lot of them are professional people that have a lot of expirience in the gaming business and don't want to be under a big publisher to work completely unrestricted and make whatever they want to.
Here are the co-founders of Red Barrels for example:

Yeah I would like rather die than looking at that like pixalated 1080p. That like totally gives me eye cancer everytime. (/s just in case)

As much as I want to see more Uncharted I think Naughty Dog should have a new main IP for the PS4 after Uncharted 4.
Games are getting more expensive and there is almost no point in making PC exclusive AAA games for most big publishers anymore especially when you look at the success of the new gen consoles.
You do realise that Sony is making money off PS+ right? It's not like people that wait for it to be availiable on PS+ are pirating or something like that.
Some people buy all games day one. Some people buy them when they get cheaper. Some buy them used and some wait for them to be on PS+.
Most people however are a combination of a couple of these types and use the benefits of different options. If you really want a game you probably won't wait a y...
Games (especially racing games) have been compared to real life for the whole last gen. It's still very obvious to tell which is real and which is game if you know what to look for especially in a video.
With screenshots it can be very close and hard to tell sometimes (at least for racing games).
Only if you tend to generalise people.
I am actually starting to worry about Uncharted. There is no need to play it down. Amy Henning leaving is a big deal and now an actor for a main character left as well so they'll probably have to redo a lot of the movocap sessions.
It's Naughty Dog after all so I'm still confident that the game will turn out great but there is no need to act like there are no problems at all.
Also how do you know how good The Order 1886 gameplay is. Have you playe...
Absolutely. Having the third-best console launch of all time surely means game over for Xbox One./s
