Forced social aspect? That's what the game is all about. You join a club and then compete with other Clubs for prestige and fame. Hence the name DriveClub. It's what sets it apart from most racers and what makes it interessting in the first place.

I've only played The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of time and Twilight princess. Even though I wouldn't call myself a Zelda fan I have to say that the games I've played are very good.
You can think they're overrated but that doesn't make your opinion a fact. Your opinion will only be respected by people when you start to respect theirs. They won't change their mind just because you insist that the game is overrated.
900p is the native resolution the game is rendered in.
1080p is the upscaled resolution the of the output signal. You'll never see a 900p video of it unless its downscaled from the upscaled output which will make the overall quality worse.
They didn't really have to afford anything. PSOne and PS2 stomped the competition sales-wise so there wasn't really a point to even invest in any ports especially talking about japanese games like FF or MGS.
Insomniac have been developing exclusively for playstation systems for 3 generations. So they were a 2nd party dev not a 3rd party dev. Remedy is the same for MS.

Playing Demon's Souls for the first time. It's really great so far (I'm about 8 hours in). I really like the game design even though it took a couple of deaths to understand how the game is supposed to be played. I really like the atmosphere and setting so far and the online features are genious.

That would be the main concern. It's much harder to enter the console market now then ever before. You have to invest in R&D for Hardware and in first party studios + dev tools. I highly doubt Atari can afford that unless they have some kind of a revolutionary idea and find the investors. But even then it'll end up with some huge company like apple, google or facebook buying Atari.
Well since there are different versions of some of the characters I wouldn't call it that fast. I have to admit I'm not a Godzilla expert and I haven't seen the new movie yet but I don't think Godzilla could beat Zeus, The Darkness or Hulk. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see it though.

Godzilla vs. Leviathan (Resistance 2)
Godzilla vs. any god or titan of God of War
Godzilla vs. The Darkness
Godzilla vs. Kessler (Infamous)
Godzilla vs. Bayonetta
Godzilla vs. Hulk
If anything the game got downgraded because of last-gen consoles. Most cross-gen titles had a lot of technical difficulties across all platforms. Even most of the big publishers have trouble developing a game for 5-6 platforms simultaniously.
I agree. I don't care about music acts, athletes, stunt shows or other stuff that only takes away time and attention from the topic it should be all about: games. Especially when MS already said that their conference will be all about games.
Most of 360's best games are missing too though. Maybe he has just a weird taste. Even most of the highest rated multiplats are missing (Bioshock, Batman, GTA, Elder Scrolls, ...)

That's the problem with freeing up recources without Kinect. They most probably won't delete Kinect functions that are already there so I don't see them getting too much out of it.
