I haven't played that game yet but I seriously have to question the overall score when you mention that the story was disappointing. I didn't read the story part of your review cause I don't want to get spoiled but if the story indeed is disappointing in a tolkien-myth based game that would have to slash much more points from the perfect score than just 0.2 imo.
I'll probably get The Evil Within and the Whistleblower DLC for Outlast. Still haven't finished P.T though. Might give that another try as well.

Just because your life revolves around console wars doesn't mean it's like that for everyone else. Forza Horizon 2 isn't even on the same platform as Driveclub so it doesn't matter which scored better to the average consumer unless we're talking about a die hard racing game fan that hasn't decided on which console to get yet.

That's very unlikely. PC gaming is all about having options. They could've included a frame cap option so you can choose for yourself.
From the earlier builds we saw the game looked to have a very inconsistant framerate. Most probably they just capped it at 30fps to minimize tearing. It's sad to see that so many devs treat the PC versions so bad lately.

I agree with the overall trend of that list. My all-time favorite FF games are VI, VII, VIII and IX.
FFXIII would've been much higher on my personal list though as I really liked that game unlike most FF fans. XII would be lower since I never got into it (played around 20 hours only).

*You can't expect any top 10 list to have the same games as your own. All of the games on the list are critically acclaimed therefore it's a legit list. Of course I could name dozens of games that would've deserved to be on a list like this but it's only a top 10 list after all.
I hope they think about supporting custom soundtracks in the future. It's actually quite important for me to have the right music while driving.

100 hours only? It's actually very easy too stretch the game length with repetative side missions (which has been proven by countless games). If the story is good and the side content isn't too repetative I'll be happy with <100 hours.
So you thought something was up with the battle system? I'm curious what it was cause it looks good imo. I'm not sure what you're expecting from the battle system either. Keep in mind it's still a JRPG.

Man. I have to admit I envy you. I don't have a Wii-U yet so won't be playing this game unfortunately. If Bayonetta 2 would be on PS4 I'd get it day one. I'm really thinking about getting a Wii-U right now.

Do you mean Edge review scores specifically? If not there have been a lot more of perfect scores for sequels. Uncharted 2 and 3, Batman Arkham City, God of War 2, 3 from the top of my head.
It's great to see that Bayonetta 2 is being well received. I just hope that it can sell well enough on the Wii-U alone.

I don't see how this is still considered a controversy one year later. People should accept the fact that the PS4 is the more powerful console and move on by now. How is this still such a big deal?

The image quality is the same as 900p though. It's just not filling out the whole frame due to a different aspect ratio.
