Why does everyone have to be so Negative about everything? It's really Depressing!

Ever since this news broke out on July 8th, it has been a really rough last 10 days. Losing Ryan, Losing my grandfather, having difficulty sleeping at night, having different looks on life (which is why I can't sleep --> Over-thinking) and playing video games has lost it's edge with me for some strange reason.

All I can hope is that my luck changes soon and August will be a better month!

Introducing the Revolutionary New iPhone 6: Pipp!n Edition

Dang, if only this was actually for real. I honestly don`t think he could ever give up predicting anything, as long as he`s getting them GameTrailers Pay-checks every other week.

The day he actually makes his last prediction, will be the day he retires....and that`s a long ways off :(

Those disagrees are the result of a group/percentage of the N4G community who do not fully understand the technical specifications of each of the three gaming platforms, and thereby, they disagree because their "beloved" system of choice is being sarcastically downplayed when compared to the other two.

Does that about sum it up? lol

@yewles1

Re-read both my comments and tell me where I said Insomniac used to own the rights to Spyro? I'm well aware Universal Interactive owned those IP rights then sold them off to Vivendi, who then sold it to Activision. It still doesn't take away the fact that Insomniac are a third-party developer who could've just asked Activision for the rights to make a new Spyro game and cut a deal with them.

And what was creative or imaginative about Fuse...

Yeah I know Activision currently own the rights to Spyro (And Crash Bandicoot, but that's another story...ERRR).

Point is, Insomniac created Spyro and left it after 2000. And for them to say that the "ship has sailed", when they haven't shown any effort to try and buy the IP back or do a publishing deal with Activision to develop another Spyro game, just shows their lack of creativity and imagination that once made them popular.

Ahh, you're right, my bad. The correct way of putting it should have been:

"Microsoft should have named it Xbox RT or the Windows RT/box"

Spyro ship has sailed??? WTF

The last time Insomniac was apart of Spyro was in 2000. And the last decent/successful Spyro game was apart of the SkyLanders Interactive Toy series in 2011. I find it hard to believe that even Insomniac think that there is no hope to re-create or remake another Spyro game.

I'm glad R&C:ItN is only $29.99, but I'm just not so sure about Insomniac Games anymore.

I'm thinking Microsoft should have just named it the Xbox 8 or the Windows Xbox. They have completely lost their minds and, I think legally, you cannot classify the Xbox One as a gaming console anymore, when it's actually an Xbox with Windows 8.

I can honestly say it was the first BombCast that I listened from start to finish and, within all the laughter and stories being told by every single person, I couldn't help but to have a little bit of a breakdown. Here's someone I've watched and listened to for the past 9 years of my gaming life, and he's no longer apart of it anymore. And I just can't imagine what the rest of the GiantBomb crew are going through...

R.I.P. Mr. Ryan Davis - Hope you've...

OMG!. He's been apart of my gaming life ever since I can remember at GameSpot. He just got married like a week or two ago. I can't help but feel I lost a family member today...

R.I.P. Ryan, and my condolences go out to his wife, family and the entire GiantBomb crew.

@JBSleek:

Okay, so you're comparing an integrated optical drive that was an integral part of the PS3 architecture and feature set, which in turn gave developers more data capacity for their games...to an add-on Kinect camera sensor that has little to do with gaming and is more for using Skype?

You see how that sounds? sounds kind of silly right? Even the PS3 Blu-Ray drive gave you options. You could play CDs, DVDs, DVD-ROMs, Blu-Rays and Blu-Ray Rom Discs...

Well, to be fair, in this economy that extra $100 does go a long way especially when considering purchasing a next-gen gaming system. Do you purchase a PS4 with a couple games or 1 game and PS+ subscription for $499? Or do you purchase an Xbox One with a Kinect and no games and no Xbox Live Gold subscription?

I think it's the fact that M$ are forcing the Kinect onto the Xbox One, meaning forcing it's fanbase/consumer-base to purchase it with the system, even though th...

Combine an open-world, next-gen Halo with 1080p native resolution, running at 60fps....would be amazing.

This is something I'll have to see first before I believe.

Thanks man, and you bring up some good points.

Fact of the matter is, I think Microsoft have forgotten what a gaming console is supposed to be about, and instead created essentially their own computer (ala. Xbox One - Microsoft's first company branded computer that's not the Surface Tablet). And that is not what a console gaming device should be. And yeah your right, Xbox is not a primary gaming device anymore. Granted they had an impressive E3 with lots of games anno...

I don't think so, unless the X1 is different in your region, but here's what the Xbox One Day One Edition comes with in North America:

"The Day One Edition has some pretty cool features:

1) The Xbox One console
2) Kinect sensor
3) Day one limited edition packaging and decal
4) A limited edition, commemorative controller
Premium packaging
5) A special code to unlock a Day One achievement
6) An HDMI ...
