Didn't read past the "major spoilers alert" message. Dark Brotherhood sidequest in Oblivion had a better plotline than the actual main plot (and most other game plots to be frank).
I'd put Bioshock and F.E.A.R before Doom 3 which made that list (closet monsters jumping you can get old after a while). But otherwise it's pretty descent
That's true. Turn 10 actually acknowledged the enormous influence and the quality of GT, while Polyphony always diverted when asked about other games in the market.
Perhaps it's part of the Japanese culture: DMC and Bayonetta developer for example (can't remember his name) claimed that he didn't play other H&S games if I recall correctly.
Awesome trolling MJ
Only cutscenes in UC2 are pre-rendered videos with higher detailed models then the game can pull when playing.
Try to skip a cutscene: if you can't skip it, it's probably a video masking loading times. So the cutscenes are perhaps "in engine" but not "real time in game".
Countless of other Rockstar games already run on that engine: From Table Tennis to the upcoming Max Payne 3. Not to mention GTA IV made such tons of money it recouped the engine costs by itself
I bought the game day 1. Still think it's one of the best games this generation, and concluding the two expansion packs it tops Vice City as the best told story in the GTA universe.
Problem?
So you're saying we shouldn't trust the Gametrailer UC3 review then?
@Statix, you can extract the large images from the page source:

But as you can see, it's the PS3 which has significantly more jaggies. This is easily observable on the building edges on the right as well as the small plant on the left. There goes your theory I guess...
Arcades should also have no problem when installing the texture pack to a memory card / USB drive.
Not installing this pack seems like a crime: without this texture pack it looks like a PS2 game, but with it the textures surpass the ones we see with the mandatory install on the PS3.
Road Rush, as well as Micro Machines, Mario Kart and Super off road were all classics. Outrun deserves number 1.
But I was expecting to see games like the original Test Drive, as well as Sega's pioneering Virtua Racing which was an amazing 3D accomplishment in 92. Stunts should also deserve a mention for the amazing track editor alone.
DF Face off coming at the end of the week. This will spark some tension here...
Regardless of what he say's there I Wouldn't count on his opinion anyway: he's a brand manager, not a developer.
Yep, just above the 7/10 GT5 got there last year
Here are the scores:
Skyward Sword [10]
Uncharted 3 [9]
Batman AC [9]
Dark Souls [9]
Rage [7]
Super Mario 3D Land [8]
Forza 4 [8]
Disgaea 4 [8]
Ratchet All 4 One [6]
Ace Combat [8]
Dance Central 2 [8]
Actually it took SC2 about a week to get to that number. It got to the 1.5 million mark after two days:

Gears 3 pulled that number faster, so what is your point exactly?
Wow, that was sad. When you use big words which you don't even understand out of context, at least learn to spell them right. It's DEFERRED shading, not "differed"...
Yep, another great score.
And for anyone who doesn't want to waste a click:
Batman: Arkham City – 10
RAGE – 9
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record – 9.5
Dark Souls – 8.75
NBA 2K12 – 9.5
Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD – 8.5
Resident Evil 4 HD – 9.5
FIFA 12 – 9.5
Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 – 9
Renegade Ops – 8.25
Burnout Crash – 7.5
Driver: San Francisco – 8.0
Gears of War 3 –...
Wenis, ever heard about Knights of the Old Republic?
It's obvious why Mass Effects reminds people of Star Wars: Bioware previously did their take on a Star Wars game, and then created a spiritual successor in their own original universe. The whole "mass effect" biotic powers are simply the in universe alternative of "the force"...
Sound like they set their mind on giving it a 10/10 before they even opened the box. Now they just have to fill in some typical low quality IGN text to fill in the review page.
