Coded Arms: Assault and Fatal Inertia.
Two games that come to mind are Fatal Inertia and Coded Arms. I'm sure there are others.
Sony is working with Epic on this right now.
Not the concept, but the implementation of it. I don't want my avatar glowing with a red aura or going transparent. It will pull the player right out of the experience.
Also, stop copying Gears..no need for a blood spattered camera lens.
We all know the game isn't finished, but to put the rushed demo on center stage was a mistake. It made a bad impression no matter what the reality of the situation was. The game will be cool, but I don't think it will make the holiday season bug free. Better they work on it into 2008 IMO.
As for Adam, he has no credibility anymore. He blew that over the last year with all of his anti-Sony BS on X-play. They trashed Motorstorm for one while every other respected game site prai...
Add in motion blur and it looks great.
Games that have low framerates and no MB look bad.
The 60GB unit at $499 is now losing $300 per sale for Sony.
Removing the EE chip will save them $80 to $100 per 80GB unit.
For $599 you get a bigger hard drive, Motorstorm and everything the 60GB had except for the EE.
The 360 uses software emulation and no one is complaining. Why should it matter for the PS3?
Like someone said already get your 60GB unit while they're available. The PS3 is not selling right? We hear that 24/7 in gami...
Is the PS3 the lead platform?
If so, maybe they are having trouble translating the AI from one format to the other.
I don't understand why MS would show a buggy demo and create this kind of negative press.
If the PS3 demo is just as bad then we may indeed see more delays.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about hardcore Halo players.
Halo is more mainstream than Zelda or Metroid ever was. It's way up there with Madden in the mind of pop-culture american males.

Could it be that on...
is it not?
They created this to get more people to subscribe. It's meant to be flame-bait to pull you in and pay for their service.
Don't take it too seriously either way. The game looks great on both consoles.
That's why Epic and Sony are now working together to fix the problems.
Coded Arms is another PS3 game with these kind of troubles. I hope Epic can step and make things right or they will lose alot of UE3 middleware licences.
This footage is old, but new reviews say the same thing about the GP.

Both are good. BF was just a victim of that first wave of anti-PS3 (whatever it was) that the press was spuing at the time.
They put a few of the comics on the disc that look to be HD resolution. Also full length versions of all the TV shows/movies playing on monitors in the game.
We watched about an hour of a movie in Jenny's apartment and made a few phone calls that were hilarious :-)
Too sharp maybe - a bit more AA would be nice, but I'm not complaining. It looks great.
If they did it without the borders some of the screen would be cut off at the sides.
M-17 for online. I know it would be a heads up for most parents when buying the game.
PS2 had very high AA on most games (other than ICO & SotC). People always complained about the blurriness when compared to Xbox 1 versions which used less AA.
Either you have clean crisp edges or you want them blurred with AA to hide jaggies. If there are no apparent jaggies then you don't need much AA.
