There's a DVD that comes with it showing behind the scenes at TN. Very revealing IMO.

They don't live up to their mission statement:

No other Japanese company will hire them now.
Being a company player is really an important asset there.
They'll have to get employed outside of Japan or go back to Tecmo heads down and begging.
An incoherent mess.
What? No one remembers Vanessa from P.N.03?

The description has way too much promotional text to be a pirate rip.
Not present company of course, but all those *other* people out there you know :-)
That time is now :-)
Single Layer DVD is 1.57MB per second Faster than Single Layer Blu-ray at data transfer (on average).
Dual Layer DVD is 1.07MB per second Slower than Single Layer Blu-ray at data transfer (on average).
The 360 uses Dual Layer DVD for most games - 3.4 Gigs per layer with the data positioned at the fastest readable edge of the disc.
I suppose this means 360 games will never exceed 6.8 Gigs on a single DVD 9 disc.
It could be intentional.
I know I do :-)
I like it.
I think it's the camera angle - makes it seem faster.
WipeOut with natural terrain doesn't look SO bad. It might work as a PSN download.
It seems to mean different things to different people. I was surprised by that, but in my experience it's true.
Is it Color and Design? Texture and Bump maps? Lighting? Animation?
Maybe it's all of that and some people just pick one of the elements calling it "graphics".
Then he had to go back and play Haze. That's the real reason for the bad review.
He's a smart guy that seems to have been really disappointed by Haze after playing a better game.
I looked around and noticed he's a big R&C, DMC and MGS fan.
if you're talking about textures and bump maps. They can't get any better.
But...the open world itself looks strange to me. Like a toy diorama where you can reach out and touch the cardboard sky and mountains.
That sense of haze and depth is not there.
I've watched all the HD videos and get the same impression each time. Maybe that can be fixed before release.
...or the return of blue skies anyway.
But sometimes war makes it's way back to the shire no matter how hard you fight.
Not sure about Gears2, but in KZ2 there may be plenty of blue sky by the end of the game (and online).
Somewhat rougher than anything in GTA too I might add :-)
To be fair, I haven't been there in over ten years so things could be better now.
I don't remember what they called it in Vice City though.
He just left out a word.
We all know what is meant especially KOTAKU, but this brings in more site hits and FB comments.
