The "Skill points" are already in place. Insomniac invented "Achievement points" back in the first R&C games.
MS & Sony have just added that concept to other games.
I think all SPE's are used, but at varied capacities. The data is farmed out to them equally. Packets go to whichever SPE is ready to take it.
So when they say "50%", they mean all SPE's functioning at 50% of their full load capacity.
They did say in the past they could create a stand alone Multi-player R&C game sold through PSN. It's just won't be connected to the current RCF:TOD game.
My PS3 auto signs in at startup and it gave no error messages.
Not sure if it made a difference or not though as I had 20GB's free space.
Two "S" words yes, but not the same.
The 360 has unified 512 memory that must be shared by the CPU and GPU.
The PS3 has 256 for CPU and 256 for the GPU (plus memory on each SPE).
Do you think developers can make full use of the 360's unified 512 by starving either the CPU or GPU of memory to give the other more ram?
The problem is memory management. Loading it through two paths as opposed to one.
I've lost a bit of respect for Eurogamer.net
Their reviews don't add up anymore.
I sold my copy a while back in anticipation of this new edition, but I had no issues with it. It ran great.
There are lot's of T rated games with killing. It's still a mature subject.
Guns are such a hot topic these days for obvious reasons and kids need guidance.
that killing is a mature subject.
I wouldn't put JE anywhere near KOTOR in quality. It was a failure top to bottom.
I think ME will be a hit with critics for whatever reasons, but it's not related to Star Wars and the non-hardcore will ignore it. IMO as always.
*Imagination override*
It isn't dead unless I kill it by getting rid of the games for it :-)
If BC is what people wanted, they already got it last Nov.
Whatever "next gen" means - you can be sure internet game critics will sh!t on it in their reviews and praise games that are more like what they're used to.
No innovative control schemes or new ideas allowed.
Maybe they do, but don't confuse Play with Play UK.

A bit pricey or did I read it incorrectly?
Or maybe just the PSN demo?
Without the nudity no one would pay any attention to Conan. This demo changed my mind about buying it. Not at full price anyway.
Bargain bin it is.
And the Gold bolts? Lots more to do if you haven't already.
