after completing the game, all levels remain unlocked.
Certain levels will be fun to battle through again and again. Some will want to master the blade and other the bow.
The CP "freezes" happen because the streaming engine hasn't been installed in the game yet.
Once that goes in, no more hesitations at check points.
For example, look at the cut scenes in Heavenly Sword. Those are so well done that you are really interested in moving forward in the game to find out what will happen between the characters.
The dialog in ME is standard robotic Sci-Fi cliche. It will appeal to Stargate fans no doubt - or anyone that isn't heavily into science fiction.
because I find myself agreeing with TheMart about the graphics in HAZE.
I downloaded the new HAZE trailer from the PSN last night and was not impressed. It looked nothing like the pre-rendered promo they put out a while back.
Maybe I've just been overdosing on MGS4 Beauty/Beast footage or something. Alot of games are starting to look graphically crap next to MGS4.
HAZE gameplay on the other hand looks great. I love games with brains and a subversi...
Fed-Ex'd to him overnight no doubt (by Paramount or the HD-DVD group).
Does he realize how silly he looks now?
It borrows alot from Half-Life 2. The developers even cited HL2 as an inspiration.
I got that impression even before I read about it.
I like HL2 so I'll probably like this too, but it's nothing really new.
The guys on the podcast have never played it.
Listen to the recording for proof. Misleading headline.
These guys doing the talking haven't even played it.
They watched "Greg" playing it and he's over in Germany right now and not even on this podcast panel.
"...looks painful, repetitive and not very fun" He then repeats, "painful to the eyes".
We all know that isn't true, the game is beautiful to look at:

This is so they can load all the assets during the movie and you don't have to wait so long. Just FYI.
They talked a bit about this in one of the recent Insomniac pod-casts.
We've been playing through the first three games again getting ready for the new one :-)
Do you realize that blog pre-dates the console's release?
It's all flawed theory, not fact.
That's a winner choice for the designers, but I was expecting something different.
I'm really interested in the water interactions though.
Combat, platforming, racing and puzzle solving all in one package.
I play the combat and puzzles and my wife plays the racing and platforming sections :-)
Easily 60 hours of gameplay per game (except for deadlocked).

I thought that was just a rumor?
Edit: I grabbed the box image off the PSU related games panel for this article.
Well yeah, they are correct for now. Try again at the two year mark.

These are the top selling 360 games. How many are shooters in one way or another?
Did he create this for the game or is it from a current album?
Edit: Just looked it up - 3.5 hour score for Heavenly Sword. Very cool.
Wonder if there will be a score CD?
very relaxing.
UE3 optimizations for 360 were delivered by Epic shortly after the release of GeOW.
UE3 optimizations for PS3 are only just being finished RE: UT3
Too late for Stranglehold to meet it's release date.
Both have problems though...
360 pad has a poorly implemented D-Pad and is a bulky clone of the Dual Shock with the D-pad and left stick switched out.
PS3 pad has to be finger-tip gripped, has slippery triggers L2/R2, and has no rumble.
MS and SONY copied from each other along the way. Shoulder buttons for the 360 and L2/R2 converted from buttons to triggers for the PS3.
