Oh, come on! I've been waiting for a long time to get this expansion on the PC! It's because of Skyrim that I got into The Elder Scrolls. I even managed to get a few games for myself because I've been saving up in time for the DLC, including Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Another being The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year edition on PS3 and I'm having a blast with it.

Damn it, Microsoft! Quit calling dibs first and leaving the r...

My list in no particular order because I do like these characters (also I do have many other characters in mind, but I'll limit it to 5 since that's the idea here):

1. The Boss (Metal Gear Solid 3)
2. Mona Sax (Max Payne/Max Payne 2)
3. Claire Redfield (Resident Evil 2/Code Veronica)
4. Anya Stroud (Gears of War franchise)
5. Sarah Kerrigan (StarCraft franchise)

My reaction to the writer's list:

"But I think you're doing the same thing CNN did with guns."

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold it right there. I'm not trying to spin this and put it on guns. Don't compare me to CNN. I'm bringing up gun regulations in relation to how this guy got them in the first place and more so if he is a nutjob. I suggest that background checks need to be more universal and thorough to avoid incidents like this.

Here, here! History has shown an incredible number of people who have murdered in the name of one cause or another. Video games have never been listed as the actual cause for violent acts. It has only been used an excuse.

Racism, sexism, militarism, fascism, mental issues, and religious extremes have all been the cause of violent acts. Never has one form of pop culture ever been the actual proven cause of a person going crazy and killing other people. If anything, this is a r...

"So, uh, yeah. This happened. Once again another incident relating to a college student who goes crazy and decides to attack society only this time at a theater. You know, if this turns out to be another case of a college guy who had mental issues and was on medication, but then stopped taking said medication I have to ask: Why are these people allowed to walk among us unmonitored?"

"We have had maybe seven or eight incidents like this happen over the course of...

Bayonetta - An over the top, Devil May Cry copy and paste game with annoying/unappealing characters. Plus, the story is so bogged in its over sexualized character and in jokes that it comes off as being egotistic. The gameplay is flashy and interesting, but the characters and story are just overbearing.

Max Payne 3 - A horrible third person shooter that quite frankly has a lot of gameplay issues that many people prefer to ignore when reviewing because they are too engrossed b...

"Many JRPG developers have responded to these accusations by producing more innovative titles, and they have gotten all but the most narrow-minded and xenophobic game critics to take notice."

Case in point, this reviewer is doing the same exact thing. It's like he never gave this game a chance. His reasons for not liking it range from it being too feminine to being too cutesy for a cliched JRPG. Yeah, who's being the "narrow-minded" and "xenop...

"Never judge a book by its cover" is the old saying. However, first impressions will always be there. I think gamers need to learn that just because you don't agree with a change in a franchise that doesn't mean that the game will suck.

The only ways a game will suck usually amount to gameplay, narrative, and graphics. Especially if it's blatant on how lazily done they were (i.e. glitches galore, plot holes are abundant, and attacks not hitting at all). ...

Thanks, Sephris! Glad you enjoyed it. I agree completely with you that this would have been a better purchase if it was $40. And, yeah, the trade in thing is pretty bad. You barely make anything back whether or not you enjoyed the game you purchased.

"There is a lot of speculation in relation to “violence in games,” but at the same time, school systems want to insert games as part of their curriculum!"

Me: Oh, the horror! Tell me more!

"Can you believe that? I mean they want to implement games like Railroad Tycoon or Sim-city."

Me: How dare schools try to use simulation games to help kids understand computers and different programs on them! It's not like recognizin...

Totally agree with you. I think that this guy is riding a bandwagon that has long since been disbanded. Sure you get blips of idiots who try to blame movies, television, and video games for violent outbursts in society, but the evidence that comes up results in the person or persons involved to be mentally disturbed or should have been on medication.

It's like they are trying to show that human error isn't real or that we can't think for ourselves so we let pop cu...

Really? I don't think I'm ever generous when it comes to reviewing games. I tell it like it is from my experience with the game. Everyone has different experiences and preferences. If I enjoyed it, then yes the score will be high, especially when I break down the four or five categories. If I despised it, then the score will be low.

My numbering system is pretty much based on grading scores. 10 and 9 would be an A (excellent), 8 and 7 would be a B (great), 6 and 5 wou...

Yeah, I agree that it's all about personal preference when one buys something. Sex doesn't sell to everyone and I'm not judging anyone who does buy certain games. I don't have a problem with anyone buying what they want. I do have a problem with gaming companies using sexual content as the selling point to their consumers.

It's offensive, immature, and unnecessary. It shows that they don't take us seriously and that they want to go to the least common ...

Rape is a very serious subject in general, but it shouldn't be completely avoided in one form of media over another. Movies and novels have long had scenes and even mentioning of rape. I think the only reason why people are up in arms over this is for the fact that Lara Croft is a long standing character that's never dealt with that kind of subject, how it shows women as always being vulnerable, and also for the age old "think about the children" BS.

Well, o...

Well this is rather shocking. Here I thought there would be more positive comments about the game rather than negative. I'm sorry guys, but I think Rocksteady did an amazing job with this and Arkham Asylum. Yes the combat is limited to two buttons and the gadgets, but so what? Why shouldn't combat be simple to learn? Allow me to retort on some of the comments.

Although the game may have felt slow to you, both games were driven through stealth challenges, story, and ...

What do you think so far about the lineup for Street Fighter X Tekken?

Thank you for your input. I apologize if my review came off as too much of a complaint. I'll admit that I was really excited for this game and some of my disappointment rubbed off in my review. I really wanted this to be a great game, but my experience with it did not prove well. Essentially, I have to put my experiences, the good and the bad for the review.

I'll also admit that I should've just made this about Ultimate, but I was considering reviewing both games....

Aw, man, I hear you. You just don't know what kind of strategies some people have. You can master or be very knowledgeable about the fighters, but some people are freaking good. That, or they spam moves a lot. And I saw your comment about KOF13. I am so going check that out. I got a new PS3, so I just have to go onto PSN and check it out.
