First impressions are all good and well, but to criticize something that isn't out yet is ridiculous. Detractors of the Wii U more often than not give stupid, trivial reasons for why they hate it already.

"Bayonetta 2 is on Wii U? OMGWTFBBQ?! I love Bayonetta on my 360/PS3! I'm so not getting Wii U!"

"Another Mario and Zelda game? Gosh, can't they come up with anything new?!"

"The Wii was just for casuals ...

I like lists like this because they are so true that it's funny.

Barriers That Aren't Actually Barriers: Totally agree with this one. It is extremely annoying when I come across a low level barrier that anyone would be able to scale in real life, but for some reason my character cannot. This was an issue in Lollipop Chainsaw would be a recent example for me.

Game Over Because Main Character Died: Also agree. It is very annoying when you can revive you...

Who knows? Maybe they will need to "clarify" this and then follow up with more DLC.

It is very unfortunate that this happens to the good companies. Especially if they are bought out by some larger corporation. In turn, this leads to changes and sometimes for the worst. Besides, there are many good reasons why EA was voted Worst Company in America.

It means the "hatred, dislike, or mistrust of women". Personally, this guy's case seems slim considering that while Duke Nukem Forever didn't have the best female characters, it's all for parody. I think "objectification" or "exploitation" would have been better words for his argument, but either way his logic doesn't make any sense. To hold one bad product over a company's head and use that as a staple to boycott them is ridiculous.

Okay. More fun for the rest of us, then. Seriously, we got another one of these guys running around? And what I mean is boycotters of a game, but doing so for a stupid reason. First Bayonetta 2 on Wii U and now Borderlands 2. Let's see where the idiocy stirs up again, huh?

This whole thing is ridiculous. I'll be the first to say that I'm no fan of the first Bayonetta, but this kind of reaction from fans of that game is just bizarre. Death threats, threats of violence, boycotting of Nintendo and Platinum Games, and it goes on and on. These people need to learn some restraint.

They act as if it's the be all, end all of their gaming lives. I'll also admit that I was highly disappointed with the Mass Effect 3 ending. After seeing al...

Agreed totally. It was amazing. I think it's going for 39.99 right now in some stores.

Thank you very much, kind sir. It's definitely worth a play through at least once. I would very much be interested in seeing what you have to say about it. I'm thinking I will check out Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier next. Perhaps that will be as good as I'm hearing as well. =)

So this is the best argument or criticism that gamers can come up with toward Nintendo and Platinum for having Bayonetta 2 on the Wii-U only? "F*** you, you suck"? Really? Judging by some of the self pictures from twitter, some of these gamers are grown adults. Grown adults acting like hate filled children who are extremely butthurt that they aren't getting their way.

And they are getting this butthurt over Bayonetta 2? Really? Was Bayonetta that much of a great...

It would be horrible if EA bought out Valve. Good thing it didn't happen.

Although if they did, I can see it now...Counter Strike with two spin off series and re-releases with added content you could get for less when bought separately. Left 4 Dead would have more maps and weapons to buy, but it's not with the game. Team Fortress 2 won't be free to play anymore. Half-Life would get more sequels than it needs. Portal will have more action than puzzle solving, DLC c...

And Microsoft still hasn't done anything worth while with Rare or their titles. Banjo-Kazooie had one lame title on the Xbox 360, Perfect Dark had a lackluster addition, and Microsoft shot down Rare's attempts at a Killer Instinct 3 game. It's a shame really. Those games could live up to a lot, yet Microsoft is just having Rare make Kinect games. Whoopee...

I agree. I admit that I have loyalty to Sony and prefer getting multiplatform games for the PS3. For me, I prefer having the hard drive already available from the get go, their exclusives, and I like how games look on it. The only games I have for the Xbox 360 are Dead Rising, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and the Gears of War franchise. Other than that, the majority of what I have is on PS3.

I have my PC as well for a few games. Nintendo has some of the most addictive, yet cre...

"On to the biggest and most common complaints is…MP’s not need in every game or it’s just another tacked on MP to get another check mark on the back of the box. Okay so let’s be clear only a complete noob would think or say that…or a sheep who doesn’t know any better."

A couple tips on writing articles because I'm pretty sure you would want people to actually read without hesitation and have them return. One, check your sentences over and over and over until you...

This was very well thought out and very well written. I'm impressed by this article. I've never seen a top Pokemon list quite like this one either. I was actually just discussing this with some of my friends the other day.

I've always seen that having a Grass, Water, and Fire type in your team is very necessary, but that's just me. While it might handicap you to using up three known spots, it leaves you with three other spots for various types and strategies. ...

It kind of depends on what one might consider as "mature". Would it be "mature" to feature things like sex and violence merely because it requires someone to be of the right age to understand those themes? Or would it be "mature" to just throw those themes in there and multiply them with the crazy to the nth degree for the sole purpose of making sales? Really, it sort of leans toward both for certain developers and publishers.

From what I hear, m...

I agree with your disagree. I found that Max Payne 3 was very hard to play through. I didn't like the story at all. I found it to be very out of place and forced. This is considering that Max Payne 2 had a great conclusion for all of the characters we saw.

Max Payne 3's story? More like Max Payne 3: Special Victims Unit directed by Michael Bay. Sure the first couple of Max Payne's had action and explosions, but at least they were contained rather than the action f...

No kidding? Didn't hear anything from Quakecon 2012 this year. I've been going to various sites to look for news with Dawnguard on PC, but I came up empty handed. Thanks for pointing that out! =)

“It is about communicating personal thoughts, feelings and experience in as honest a way as possible – straightforwardly, not presentationally."

So...you're telling a story. Seriously, if you're conveying ideas through scenes, pictures, and literature...you're telling a story. Just because you bend words a bit that doesn't change what it means to tell a story. If someone is watching your film, reading your book, or playing your video game and learning abo...

I think what pisses people off most about the ending to Mass Effect 3 is its lack of logic and narrative cohesiveness. You can go to Youtube and find a few good videos of people who explain why the ending doesn't work or make sense. Hell, I've found an article that shows how other science fiction writers thought the ending wasn't good.

The problem, at least how I see the problem, lies on a few things. Please note that this is all before the free DLC that helped &q...
