While I picked up the PS4, I do want the XB1. Had a hard figuring out what games I wanted to buy on the PS4 at Best last night. Ended up picking up Madden 25, and Need for Speed, both games I could have gotten on the XB1, plus 3 exclusives (Ryse, KI, Forza).
I got my console form Amazon, no problem so far besides Sony PSN problems.
What PSN are you guys downloading from? Just got the PS4 and Resogun took 4 hours to complete. I know the network is bogged down by so many activation, but historically my now old PS3 slim could only achieve 7-15 mbps or so on my 25 mbps connection while all other devices achieved full bandwidth. Making for slow a$$ game downloads from the PSN store compared to my other PCs, Mac book, and X360.
Picked up this yesterday, its all alright, handles well, graphics very crisp. First football game I've purchased in about 3 years. What I hate is my DS 4 controller battery life, currently on my 2nd recharge in less than 24 hrs including sleep time. Is there anyway to turn off that damn blue light? I found the speaker settings for the controller, not seen the light sensor settings yet.
The system sold 3 million plus the first 4 months, I believe higher than both PS3 and X360, you would think public interest would be higher. Probably collected the data from a bunch of people with bias opinions.
LOL I know, UPS and FEDEX has left $1000 equipment at my front door plenty of times. I always leave a note if no answer please leave in leasing office but they never seem to do.

Amazon changed my pre order from DS edition to Launch Edition. Console shipped on Tuesday, arrived in my home city last night, delivery estimate says Friday by 8:00 PM. So I'll see if I have a UPS box outside my apartment when I get home from work.
what's up with everybody being so high on indie titles? Played a crap load of them on Steam, Live, Android, and PSN, only a handful of them are good. Its like for every 2 good indie titles I've tried 30 piles of sh!t!
Embarrassing, with the average gamer being 36,37 do Nintendo really think parents are that stupid? Maybe grandparents, more marketing fail from Nintendo. If Nintendo is talking about an upgrade, how about upgrading that oversized resistive touch tablet, make it smaller, lets say the size of a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Smaller size should shave some money off each units to be used for either price reduction, or upgrading other parts of the system.
Upgrade the Wii U internal space...
KZ 1 & 2 were meh, KZ 3 was actually pretty good just didn't like the way it ended with that last spaceship battle. KZ SF unfortunately is not on my list unless I could have gotten it for free with the purchase of two games. Messed up yesterday on Amazon didn't know you had to buy the two games first and wait for a code. Oh well EA will probably get most of my PS4 money this holiday season with Need for Speed, Madden, maybe NBA, they already got my BF 4 money on the PC.
PS3 launch was not nearly as rocky as the X360, I was on my third X360 by April of 2006. The fat PS3 atleast lasted a year for me until the 120 GB slim came out which lasted until I sold it last week with my PS4 on the UPS truck.
Not surprised given this generation lasted so long. What I hate most seeing is all the articles about console and PC gaming being dead. Or the crap about 1 console in the future, and is this the last generation written by hack writers just to get some views on their website.

Sounds about right, Best Buy employee informed they he had 20 PS4 in the back. Tried to sell me one under the table for $700 before I informed my unit was pre ordered at Amazon.
God I love PCM audio, especially through my Polk Monitor 75s, M60s, and M70s speakers.

Hey I tried, placed my order twice today, comes up to $184 with tax, third game not being taken off. Now Madden 25, and Kill Zone is out of stock, game orders cancelled, will just do Gamestop or Best Buy on Friday.
Well it probably wouldn't matter, if I get it on Thursday I will not turn it on until Friday just in case. Still don't have any games for it yet, probably will check Amazon later on today to see if that buy 2 get 1 free deal is going on. Madden 25, Need for Speed Rivals, and a game I don't care about. Probably Kill Zone if the third game is free.
I have Amazon Prime, normally I pick 2 day shipping but did not get the option when I pre-ordered. I got the notice last night my item was being prepped for shipping. Checked today it says shipped, but when I checked my tracking number it has the message item received from carrier. I should be able to see some updates later on tonight.
cmon now Sony, Amazon just informed my shipment has shipped, I would like my PS4 to be able to stream from my NAS sever and now have to boot up another device for the feature.
Only 1 controller, no charge station yet just that short USB cable. No way I'm gaming sitting next to my 60 inch plasma using a cable that I don't even think is 2 meters long. One reason why I prefer rechargeable swappable batteries, they run low just pop the next ones in and I'm good for 20 hrs while the other charges.
