IS COD Ghost any good? Debating on picking this up for my PS4 or waiting until I get my XB1 next month. I skipped last year COD because I hate COD games made by Treyarch.
All three companies went for efficiency rather than outright power like the previous generation (Except the Wii). I don't think this generation will last as long as the previous with low end to mid range hardware. I do give kudos to Sony for including 8 GBs of GDDR5, I didn't see that coming.
Yeah I don't own one yet but the couple of times I've played with XB one controller it felt more natural and sturdy. My DS4 controller has a short battery life, and I keep on hitting the touch pad on accident when I want to pause the game by hitting options. So damn frustrating to accidentally call timeouts in Madden, something nobody mentioned regarding the DS4.
Its alright, just looks similar to most of my PC games in mid to ultra settings. Only have Madden 25, and Need for Speed Rivals for it, nothing else interested me that was not delayed. It can get loud after a couple of hours, the controller battery life is short, reviewers claims 8 hrs or so, I'm getting somewhere between 6-7 hrs. I'm also waiting for DNLA support for .MKV files, half of my blu ray collection, and a large chunk of Netflix movies I store on my 2 TB EHD. Overall the PS4...
Yes, so did my PS3 and X360, nothing new there. My PS4 did crash on my twice, had to unplug the power, wait for a minute before the console is able to boot again.
XB360 did dominate in the worlds biggest market, the American markets having sold the most home consoles in the past 30 months. PS3 lead is just a couple of hundred thousands world wide which in the end is abit meaningless. Especially considering most of MS sales are in 2 of the major markets compared to PS3 3.
In the end, two systems that both sold over 80 million units with 1 selling 80.2 or whatever is only meaningful to trollers. If the numbers were like 80 million sold t...

Thanks! Internet streaming playback makes more sense, but why call it DTS with the bit rate being only 512 Kbps? Regular Dolby Digital playback is 640 Kbps, even Vudu 7.1 track playback is at 640 Kbps. I'm use to seeing 5 plus Mbps playback on my receiver watching Blu-Rays, and 640 Kbps on Vudu. From the looks of it, nothing really to get excited about.
I'm confused here, unless its DTS MA HD 7.1 at 96 kHz this format is nothing new. Hundreds of movies out already that support this format, my blu ray player supports this format to my Sony receiver.

Sony STR DN840 is pretty good for the price. When you have it setup properly its gets loud at 12.
I hope not, not getting AC 4 for that sole purpose, can't stand to listen to generic pirate vices, look, and attitude. The next Uncharted should be open world, the Uncharted series has a habit of hand holding, but I trust in Naughty Dog. The last game Naughty Dog let me down was Way of the Warriors.
Yeah that would have been nice, especially when playing on my almost 60 plasma and 5.1 Polk Monitor speakers setup. But like 3D we all know what people are going to complain about; the smell is giving me headaches, MS messed up my sense of smell, called 911 because I thought my house was on fire, I call 911 because my room smelled like death, etc.
Wow and just a decade ago Xbox 512X512 was considered hi res textures.
I think people including myself expected more from Nintendo rather its, marketing, hardware or software. They dropped the ball this generation, lifetime sales might be lower than the excellent Gamecube. I still maintain replacing E3 with Nintendo Direct was a horrible idea. Look at how much steam Nintendo lost since E3, they showed everything that was expected, nothing unexpected. In conclusion Nintendo just needs new leadership, a fresh idea if they want the Wii U to last past 2014/15.
No biggie, still a great game I can't stop playing. Almost as good as 2012 Most which I got on the PC.
I got the PS4 as well with Need for Speed and Madden 25. Only one of friends who got the PS4, Sony got me with the E3 hype, MS didn't help with their disastrous E3. XB1 is back on my radar after deciding to cancel what would have been my new Radeon 290 video card. I might have to stand outside for this come Thursday night. My local Best Buy informed they should have 20-30 in stock not meant for pre-orders.
Mines had the plastic air bubbles around all 4 sides from Amazon with fragile written on top.
Yeah I do prefer better graphics and sound, but I do think 720P vs 1080P is abit overrated. If you have a decent TV or av receiver, the digital scaler makes it hard to tell the difference depending on the size and distance the user is sitting from their TV.
I need this game in 3D! Playing it on the PS 4, allot of particles and leaves flying all over the place. This game would look awesome in 3D.
What? Nah its all good, picked up Rivals on the PS4. I still have Most Wanted on the PC which ran between 30-45 FPS anyway depending on Nvidia's drivers I'm using.
I know it sold allot, but I've seen some terrible reviews on this game which made me hesitate to pick it up. I don't know if it goes on sale this week lets say $20 off I will probably just get it on the PS4 so I can trade it in if the game is garbage.
